This tour is very disorganized. The vehicle was not ready at time of pick up, our guide had to stop for gas. He also stopped 3 additional times, including to mail a personal letter. They do not have confirmed parking in Strasbourg or Baden Baden. You will spend upwards to 30 minutes looking for a place to park. The petite train in Strasbourg should not be offered, because the last thing I wanted to do after being in the car this long was immediately walk to a train, then get rushed right back to the van. No time to explore Strasbourg at all. Only 30 minutes were allotted in the Black Forest, most of the time is spent in Baden Baden. Even our tour guide didn't seem to enjoy this tour at all. He kept telling that it was "all driving" and repeated the same jokes over and over.

I have to consider the $700+ I paid for my family to take this tour when leaving this review. With this price point in mind, it is absolutely not worth it. The tour company should not have offered this tour on a day that there was a parade going on in Strasbourg. Our guide drove around for 20-30 mins trying to find parking. I have never taken a tour where parking wasn't sorted beforehand. Then he rushed is right to the petite train - which we did not get the opportunity to skip - why force people on this train to see the city when you're already spending so much time in the car? Then we had to leave immediately afterwards. He practically rushed another family on our tour out of the giftshop. And this all happened after he also spent 10 mins trying to find parking in Baden Baden, stopped to mail a package in a random town off the autobahn, amd stopped to fill up in gas twice. I anticipated a lot of driving, but the guide making personal stops and not having confirmed parking just made this all worse. Very disappointed overall and would never recommend this. I don't even think the guide himself liked it. He kept telling us how inconvenient everything was.

The Baden-Baden and Black Forest there was nothing to see and quite boring. The charges of $625 was ridiculous. Total waste of money for us . The driver guide did not have a microphone so we could not hear him at all. Even outside he did not wait for everybody he started talking before all gathered. Pretty bad. We are going to Rome in 2 months so I made not use Viator.

This by far was the worst tour I have taken on TripAdvisor. I wanted to see the black forest and we only had 45 minutes to eat , shop, hit the WC and explore. We spent too much time in Baden-Baden on walking tour that was not worth the time and energy. Strasbourg was decent, but maybe less time there would be better.

Strasbourg was great. The Black Forest was cloudy and foggy but our guide George was fantastic. Baden Baden was very nice. George did a great job explaining the history and the sites.

-- 'Petite train' ride in Strasbourg’s old town center is a joke. Strasbourg town center needs a walking tour with a human, better local guide, not a brief audio guide driven ride. -- This is a complicated multi-destination full day tour, so it is not a good idea to have guide and driver roles combined. Talking and driving can be OK in a simple internal city situation, not like this. -- The tour vehicle should have access to the GPS-driven map and phone support. Otherwise, it is easy to get lost as it happened today.

The van was late and not cleaned and ready (gas) for the day. It seemed this guide might be a last minute arrangement. He seemed to have his presentation and did not address questions well. This was the worst and last TA tour we have taken. One other TA tour on this trip was first class all the way. This tour was too expensive to have an experience like this.

Our guide Peter was lovely. He’s a perfect gentleman and looked after us like we were his own kids. Made stops when we needed water and restroom breaks that were not scheduled.Made sure we were all comfortable and safe and dry at all times on a very rainy day. And was a fabulous driver too!! He was very patient with all the questions and was knowledgeable. The trip itself was lovely. The Black Forest and Baden Baden were spectacular. Strasbourg was nice but I felt we could have spent less time there as compared to the other places which were much prettier. Wish we could have spent more time in Baden Baden instead.

I took the Baden Baden and France tour. Our expert guide was William. He was Amazing !!! His comedic timing was impeccable and he was professional in getting to know each of us individually on the tour . He was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out, combining leisure time with activity and not-to-be-missed opportunities . It was worth every cent !!!

This was an incredibly long trip that needs to be thought through by the tour operator. There were no meals included and the only opportunity we had to get something to eat was at a gas station. The road to the Black Forest was closed, so we didn't even have the opportunity to have any Black Forest Cake. We walked through Baden-Baden, but there wasn't any time given to shop or eat. Strasbourg was very nice, although we had very high winds. I would recommend just taking the train into Strasbourg for the day. Go on the little train that takes you around the city. Our guide/driver Willi was very nice, but he is a very aggressive driver an I was almost to the point of taking the train back to Frankfurt. The worst part is that they crammed 8 of us into a small van. It was extremely uncomfortable for such a long trip.
