This tour was fantastic, definitely worth the train ride from Munich! Our guide Elisabeth was very informative and friendly throughout the tour, and gave us multiple chances to explore and to buy food and drinks. Nuremberg is a beautiful city, very quaint and with 1,000 years of history, culture and architecture to admire. I highly recommend this tour!

Achim was a great guide looking after us in the confusion of DB trains. I learnt a lot and got a great perspective from a German on WW2. Many Thanks.

The walled city of Nuremberg especially the cathedral was memorable. I learnt a lot and gained a perspective on the third reich which was deep and compelling

There is no doubt our tour guide was passionate about the events that occurred at Nuremberg during WW11 but this may have been to the detriment of the tour. Too many facts and not enough sites visited. Appeared to me that visits to a gingerbread shop and sausage eatery were for possible commissions from sales.

Overall average trip as it was too hectic and we felt rushed from one place to the next. We didn’t have free time to explore the market place on our own. On hindsight, we should have just chosen the Old Town Nuremberg and have the rest of afternoon exploring the town on our own. On the positive side, our guide Akim provided great information and was engaging.

This was a very interesting history tour! Our guide, Achem, was knowledgeable and informative while walking our group through the history of this influential city. The sites and views were a beautiful and interesting mix of the old town and the WWII era construction. I do wish there were a few more bathroom/refreshment breaks throughout the tour as it is quite long. But overall I thoroughly enjoy the tour and Achem’s narration. (He also gave some very good food and drink recommendations both for Nuremberg and Munich) I do have a few “heads up” notes to those interested in this tour: 1. This is a very history heavy tour, if you’re looking for a lighthearted medieval town tour this is probably not for you 2. It is quite a long walking tour with hills so be prepared for that if you go

The tour itself was boring. The tour guide did his best, he interacted with participants, gave explanations but unfortunately Nuremberg is not a pretty or interesting town and the long walk from the tram stop to see the rally grounds was also a waste of time. I thought the tour include the documentation centre which I thought would be good to see but apparently my mistake it was not included. The tour of Nuremberg was overly long and lunch was a mere half hour eaten “on the run” so we could catch the tram.

Our guide was terrific and made the tour so interesting. We also went to Nuremberg which was worth the trip.

Jeff did a great job sharing his deep knowledge of Nuremberg. He had a rapport with local vendors which added to our cultural understanding of the area. We not only spent time in the city center but also at WW2 sites - which was great. The train ride from Munich was relaxing and gave us all the opportunity to view the countryside.
