Although it may look expensive at first sight (even more as the price doesn't include 33 euros to visit the castles), given the length of the trip it is definitely good value for money. Our guide was great and shared a lot of history and anecdotes during the road trip. It was overall well timed and organised

This was a lovely tour visiting two of King Ludwig’s castle and viewing beautiful Bavaria on a super comfy bus. We very much enjoyed our trip and our tour guide was great! I would highly recommend! Just be aware that the castle entrance fees are not included in the trip and they accept cash only so be ready with your euros!

I have booked the "Day Trip to Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace" which is being conducted by Mentor Reisen e.K. after going through several reviews available over the Viator platform. We chose the tour with an English speaking guide. I must say the tour was exceptionally good. The name of our guide was Christina. She was really knowledgeable and she gave us a detailed information about the places we were visiting, their history and other necessary information so that we know what we were seeing. Also the arrangement of the entire trip was exceptionally well, taking care of all possible need of the tourists. At the end of the trip we were dropped near the Munich Central Station. Our hotel was few kilometers away form the station. At this point Christina was like a savior for us. She went beyond her duty to help us to to book the train ticket and get us in the right train to reach our hotel (It was our first time in Munich and this support made the situation much easier for us). Thank you Mentor Reisen e.K. and Christina for making this trip memorable for us.

A well extended day trip on a tour bus with english tour guides that provided great information throughout the whole trip. The castle itself and the photo spots were amazing with tips on how to get the best day out of it. Lots of couples and solo travelers like me as well as a few families. The hike isn't too bad and the pictures were exactly as seen.

This was a really fun day trip that includes time to eat lunch and plenty of time to see the castles and some of the towns as well. Be ready to do a good amount of walking. To get to the Neuschwanstein castle itself, you have to make your way up a long steep road that's about a 30 minute walk. If you want to give up 30 minutes to wait in line, you can take a horse buggy to the top. That's what we did. But you will still have to walk down. That being said, we really enjoyed the day, and our tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable.
