The Antlers Hotel is a historic hotel originally built for by William Jackson Palmer, our city's founder, in 1873. Here, we'll talk about the beginnings of Colorado Springs and the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad that passed through.

Brakeman's Smashed Burger Bar

Located inside the original train depot that welcomed guests from the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad from 1871-1971, this restaurant serves up tasty burgers and creamy milkshakes. If you're lucky, you might even get to see a train pass by!

With Pikes Peak looming over the buildings of downtown Colorado Springs, we'll talk about how it was named, world-renown events happening there every year, and of course the famous food you can get at the top.

Josh & John's

Josh and John's has been serving their delicious "mountain churn" ice cream in downtown Colorado Springs since 1986! We'll try the "Purple Mountain Majesty," which is the flavor they created in honor of the 100-year anniversary of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. This location is hugely popular with the locals, but you'll get to skip the line with the food tour!
