    This was a great tour and we had an excellent time with the group. Everything we tasted was super fresh and delicious. This is an awesome way to get yourself oriented around Bologna to sample local specialties. I really enjoyed the variety of food while also learning about the origins and history of each unique item.

    Ben was the perfect guide. We visited a food market, then a shopping market across short distance away. Really interesting and we appreciated the history. Were not aware that we would need to purchase food (probably didn’t read the description carefully) but this wasn’t an inconvenience. I would totally be interested in a longer tour with her.

    I loved this tour! Quick, to the point, lots of food, great facts about the food history of Bologna. Benedetta is a wonderful guide and took the time to provide us recommendations on locals spots to visit and how to make sure items are authentic.

    I highly recommend this tour! The host, Federica, was very knowledgeable about food and local history, and managed the group and all the locations/ vendors with finesse. We ate delicious local bites. I appreciate the “opt-in” tasting approach to reduce food waste. It was a great introduction to the city - I’m so glad I did this tour.
