We had a great day cycling around Bevagna and enjoying a very tasty lunch with even better wines at La Fonte Azienda. Daniele and Laura are relaxed knowledgeable and fun guides/owners. The cycling has uphill and downhill sections. Thanks to the e-bikes everybody can enjoy this tour while at the same time you can make it as strenuous as you want. If you like cycling, scenery, testing good wine and meeting very friendly people and this a trip you should take.

We had a fabulous day cycling in the Umbrian countryside with our amazing guide, Laura. Stunning scenery at every turn! We enjoyed stopping for a morning coffee and then an extended and delicious lunch at the wonderful La Fonte Winery (we ended up driving back there to buy a box of wine!). Cycling through Bevagna was a highlight....such a lovely town. The cycling is suitable for low-medium level cyclists as most of the cycling is on secondary roads and bike paths. There are some up hill sections but the e-bikes make it very achievable! You can work as hard or as little as you like!! Definitely recommend this tour to singles, couples and families with children who are confident cyclists. We'll be back to try another tour!!

I can thoroughly recommend this activity. We had such fun cycling round the wonderful Umbrian countryside led by the charismatic Daniele who looked after us beautifully. We loved the wine tasting which was paired with some delicious cheese and cold meats. Don’t hesitate - book up.

BEST TOUR GUIDES EVER!! No need to shop around for another touring company. Danielle and Laura guided us on 3 separate excursions: the slow food and olive oil tour, hiking in Assisi and biking through the vineyards and farms to a wine tasting experience. Having local guides, who speak perfect English, frees you up to enjoy everything instead of looking at maps on your phone, trying to make reservations (challenging when you don’t speak the local language) and all the other hassles of being in a place you are not familiar. They were the perfect hosts!!

The bike tour and wine tasting was FANTASTIC! Our guide Daniele was tremendous and such a knowledgeable guy. The bikes were great but especially my E-bike. The day was one of the highlights of our trip. A ride with Daniele is highly recommended for anyone visiting the Umbria region.

We just loved this experience from start to finish and would highly recommend. Laura was super friendly, really organised and knowledgeable, and very focused on ensuring that we learned a lot about Umbria and we had a great time. I had to pinch myself a few times when I was cycling with blue skies above, a field of sunflowers on my right and a field of corn on my left, so stunning to look at and really uplifting to be immersed in the Umbrian countryside. The little towns that Laura took us to were just gorgeous- a particular highlight was exploring an old paper mill and learning how paper was made there so many centuries ago. We had some amazing food and wine at the vineyard we visited- we have a box now being shipped over to us so we can re-live the experience. I think that meeting the producer of the wines that you drink adds to the enjoyment as you feel more of a connection, so I really appreciated this aspect of the tour as well.
