Our guide Florence was very informative. Loved the quad biking that we did at Etna. Sadly it rained so we were slightly hampered by the weather. We did not see as much of Taormina as we could have done purely because of the rain. What we did see was very pretty.

Our guide, Andrea, was fantastic! He made sure we all got the best experience possible. His deep local knowledge and boundless enthusiasm made the day very special,

We did the Etna and Taormina full day excursion, also Syracussa, otigo and noto excursion. Both excursions were excellent, the guides Carmello and Andrea were personable and extremely knowledgeable. Could not recommend this tour company highly enough

What a wonderful day! Our guide Francesco was amazing!. So knowledgeable, fun, engaging and kind. We hiked craters and learned so much about Etna, and were able to spend time in Taormina as well. The ride was comfortable, and I love the small group size. We had a fantastic day as a family. Thank you, Etna Tribe! I highly recommend, you will be in good hands.

This was quite an adventure from 8:30 am - 9:30 pm! The tour guide, Alessandro, was very knowledgeable about Mt Etna and all things volcano and tried very hard to deliver everything offered despite having to deal with a difficult person on our tour. It is quite far to get from Catania to Mt. Etna and we left an hour late because this person was not found where expected by the guide, claimed he didn’t have phone service, only wifi ( not true, he just didn’t want to pay to turn it on), so there was a lot of time lost until he was found at another location. This delay caused us to apparently lose our place to get the cable car up to Mt Etna. While the guide was trying to rearrange things, which took about 30 minutes, this same guy got “tired of waiting” for him and just took off to climb around on his own! More time wasted while the guide tried to alert all the other tour guides to find him and then get us through the cable car line with our tickets. It was very crowded to get the cable car by this time. We also didn’t really think about the weather at 10,000 feet which the details do tell you will be about 10 degrees colder. As we’re American, we assumed this was 10 degrees Fahrenheit, and of course, it was 10 degrees Celsius! It was freezing cold and windy at the top and it was a very steep climb in thinner air. Definitely way too much for 3 of the 4 of us. A heavy jacket, hat and gloves are needed. Or just take the beautiful cable car ride and skip the 4 wheel bus and steep climb. By the time we came back down, it was 3 pm with no lunch break. The guy who went off on his own was not happy as he had been waiting for an hour but none of us cared. Off to the lava tubes and then to the wine tasting which really could be skipped. We did not get to Taormina until 6:45 and raced to get into the Amphitheater which closed at 7. The tour ended up being 75% volcano, 10% wine tasting with sales pressure and 15% Taormina. I’d give Alessandro 5 stars for trying his best and dealing with the rude guy who turned the whole day upside down for 6 other people. I’d give the tour plan itself 3 stars as there is too much packed into the time frame, no plan for a lunch break, and very little time left to be in Taormina.

A windy climb up to the crater of mt Etna. Made it! The stroll through Taormina and the theater was a more relaxing climb.

This is a good way to visit both Etna and Taormina. You're essentially paying for round trip transposition. My guide Gabriele was friendly. I opted for the quad bike tour at Etna instead of the summit bus, it cost 65€ extra and was a good time. The wine/food tasting at the enoteca was also good. Then we had 2 full hours to explore Taormina on our own which was sufficient.

Moreno hosted our tour today and I could not fault the day. He had a genuine passion to show us the best of Sicily and his knowledgeable approach made the day memorable. He is a real asset to Etnatribe and coming from a customer facing industry, he was outstanding and I’d recommend this tour to anyone who visits Sicily.

Our guide Giuseppe was absolutely brilliant! We had a fantastic day. We saw everything and more. Totally recommend this tour.

Couldn’t fault anything. Carmelo was not only extremely knowledgeable and informative, but very careful to point out any health or other risks for potential activities we could try on Etna. He made organising our quad bike tour which was fantastic, easy. He painted a fabulous picture of the geography, history and people of Catania and Taormina. Our wine and food tasting at the Palmento Ragalna was excellent. Would highly recommend this tour to people of all ages. Carmello was an excellent guide.
