This was a great way to get to know more about the food production in Bologna. Mattia was so knowledgable, & obviously passionate about sharing this with others. It was never obvious that he does this tour every day, twice a day. We ate some of the delicious traditional bolognese foods and sampled some local wines. The tour also includes a visit to watch pasta being made, which was mesmerising, along with some balsamic vinegar tasting. This tour is very good value for the money & I would recommend it to anyone that wants to learn more about the amazing food this city can offer, other than the taste. The tour does involve quite a lot of walking so be aware of that, and don’t eat before you join!!

We had great time, enjoyed every moment of Claire’s company… benefited greatly from her vast knowledge about food:) We highly recommend this tour n if possible with her as she was very proficient in several languages 👏🏻

Our guide Stefania was excellent! She told us lots of history about Bologna as well as the unique food traditionally served in the city. We enjoyed seeing the city at night, too.

Gabriele was a great guide through the food traditions of Bologna. We had a fun and informative tour and learned a lot about why Bologna is the foodie capital of Italy. Thoroughly recommend....go hungry...!

Claire was an excellent guide, providing very interesting history of both the city and food we saw. The group tried a variety of delicious, traditional Bolognese foods from around the city. I would highly recommend the tour to get a feel for the city, learn some history, and try some food in a friendly atmosphere.

Great tour, would recommend. Great food and a knowledgeable tour guide. Food was amazing and was great to understand the background of the food and the city🙂

Mattia was very insightful and the tour was very interesting and yummy! We visited some unique places and saw how tortellini is made.

Absolutely fantastic tour today. Great food and drinks, with a really knowledgable tour guide Marco who made it a highlight of my trip to Bologna

Good amount of time to explore many areas of Bologna. Nice variety of foods and host was extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to!

As a family, we were able to enjoy great food from Bologna. My husband enjoyed tasting the balsamic vinegar. My niece likes the food accommodation. My two youngest ones enjoyed watching people making pasta and eating pasta, and my oldest son had fun tasting the wine. This was an excellent way to understand and try some Italian cuisines. My family enjoys this and wasn’t hungry afterward. Gabriel fed us with a wealth of knowledge during our tour.
