The tour operator simply did not show up. Tour had been confirmed by Viator. No messaging, no justification, no apologies. Lost money and time for which Viator will not respond: we traveled from Shenzhen to Xiamen just for this tour, also booked a hotel. Woke up 5:15am to be picked up at 6am as scheduled, we were on time but waited one hour without success. Very disappointed. It's the tour operator's fault but Viator is the intermediary and our "partner", therefore they have to bear the responsibility. They should train operators to communicate better beforehand, to avoid fiaskos like this one. Probably won't book with Viator again.
