Colosseo

Your tour starts at the Colosseum, where you bypass ticket lines with pre-reserved skip-the-line passes. Your guide will lead you inside, up a set of stairs, and through the arches for your first glimpse of the world's most iconic sporting ground. Explore the first and second levels, hearing stories of the gladiators that fought here by choice (or otherwise), of the emperors who decided their fate, and of the captive audience whose graffiti still marks the walls today. The Colosseum had more uses as well, some of which you’ll hardly believe—your guide has all the details.

Admission Included

Roman Forum

The adventure continues at the Roman Forum. You’ll appreciate having a historian as a guide here. As you wander the streets, they can make sense of the ruins for you, pointing out the subtle differences that reveal whether the structure is a moneylender’s shop, public bath, or any number of common ancient structures. Learn what life was like in the days of Caesar, Nero, and Hadrian, and how Roman society functioned.

Admission Included

Palatine Hill

Finally, climb the hill to see the palaces of Palatine Hill, built on the grounds where Romulus and Remus were discovered by the she-wolf in the legend of Rome’s founding. After an incredible day of making ancient history come to life, you’ll part from your group feeling more in touch with the beautiful ruins of Rome.

I can’t say enough good things about Gigi and the tour of the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. He was such a wonderful tour guide. He was smart and a whip, hilarious, commanding, energetic, and full of knowledge. I’ve been to Rome countless times and have visited each of these sites many times over the last 21 years. This was my first tour. I got so much out of it. The experience was so much fuller, knowing what I was looking at. Books can only do so much. I definitely recommend the Walks tour. It wasn’t too long and I had a great time. I have nothing negative to say.

Excellent guide brings the ancient sites to life, must-have for traveling with kids / teenagers and makes the long wait in line for both the Forum / Palatine and the Colosseum time well spent.

Even on a busy Friday holiday we were able to navigate to everything. Great, very knowledgeable guide and incredible place. The Forum is amazing!

They gave me a $650 voucher with no expiration date in writing! When I tried to use it they refused to accept it. They are not a reputable company and should not be allowed to operate in the USA. They cheat people.

Such a great walking tour! Amber was a fantastic guide, so enthusiastic and interesting. 3 hrs went by so quickly. Highly recommend this tour.

Extremely disappointing. Guide didn’t speak English very well , but he also appeared to be intoxicated or ill. He fell asleep standing against a wall during the tour. Some of the information that we could make out was more about movies than historical facts. Four members out of the ten in the group left halfway through the tour.

Our tour guide Amber was very knowledgeable and engaging. She shared a great deal of information in a way that made it enjoyable to learn the history of Rome. The company is well organized. Check in was easy and efficient. The provided headphones meant never missing anything our guide said. Highly recommend this walk!!

The tour was terrible and it was entirely due to the quality of the tour guide. Could only understand about every other word as he mumbled most of his words. His presentation style was non energetic and certainly didn't bring the wonderful architecture alive. Complete waste of $200 Euros. My wife and I left the tour midway thru.

What an informative and educational tour! Sara brought the ruins to life with her presentation. 3 hours flew by! Definitely recommend!

We have done specialized tours such as this one all over the world - Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East. Never have we experienced a guide as unsuited for their job as the one we had today. No enthusiasm, no effort made to bring the locations and their history to life, mumbled and garbled delivery....it was abysmal from start to finish. (I will admit that we finally pulled the plug, returned our headsets to him and left early. We can only assume that there was no improvement when officially over.). I would suggest that this company place a greater emphasis on screening their hires because this was an insulting waste of over 200 Euros. In sum, an extreme lack of professionalism in all aspects, including attire....which I would never comment on, but it was a standout today.
