Your Itinerary

Plaza Mayor

One of the most beautiful Plazas of Europe if I may say so. Plaza Mayor. One of the most beautifull Plazas of Europe and one of the main reasons why Salamanca is UNESCO city. It is our living room, here you see everyday live, how it changes, how habits are changing. I will revive old customs which were very popular.

Palacio de la Salina

Italian renaisance style palace. If open we will visit the patio decorated with the sandstone, so typical for Salamanca.

St. Stephen's Convent (Convento de San Esteban)

Facade in magnificent plateresque style and a place with a lot of important history. But that is why I will be there to tell it all.

Cueva de Salamanca

Here is where the black magic pops up. Salamanca is known for this even in Latin American countries. Famous writeres like Cervantes have written about this place. It is build into the old city wall.

Huerto De Calixto & Melibea

The name of the park is referring to a very important book of the spanish litrature which is called La Celestina. A book about witchess and roguish way of living. But it is also a place to enjoy the scenery.

Casa de las Conchas

Master piece of construction, late gothic style, combined with renaissance and mudejar. A house with stories about cavalry.

Convento de las Duenas

This is a stop about a wonderfull person how had a heart for the people of Salamanca. And, did you know that Salamanca is famous for its tunnels? Is this true or fiction? We will find out.
