The guide provided insights and history of the sites and the island. The tour of the glass blowing facility was very interesting. Would recommend this tour.

David was a wonderful guide. He gave us great information about Murano and Venice. The glassblowing exhibition was terrible. We learned nothing in a five minute show. However, while waiting for what happens next, we did waste 25 minutes in their showroom looking at inventory we were not interested in purchasing. Luckily, I spoke up or we would have not been offered an island tour. The guide was great. The tour was poor.

Our guide was excellent. Very friendly and interesting. Our private tour was just my wife and myself, making it a special experience. However, I felt - only slightly - that our guide was a bit "scattered". He left some of the decision-making up to us, but I wish it had been just a bit more organized. Nonetheless, we learned an immense amount of facts and thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The one negative was our "guide" (not our regular tour guide) who took us around the glass blowing facility. Although he, too, was very informative and friendly, we felt pressured to buy something (my wife bought a small set of earrings, but it didn't seem to please him, leading us to believe he got a commission on the larger items, but not the smaller ones). His response was disappointing. Would I recommend this tour? Yes, but be prepared to say no, if you're just there for the tour.

This was a big disappointment. We were ushered from a very few minutes of glassblowing demonstration into a showroom and then into a store so we could buy. It was a total ambush marketing ploy. We wanted to know about the history of the island and about history of the glassblowing on Murano. Our guide did not know much about anything. She was pleasant but really had few skills in guiding. It was a lovely day and we did enjoy the boat ride.

The artistry of the glass blowing was amazing. They make it look so easy but you know it is not. Our guide provided a great experience and explanation of the town and historical sites

Our guide Vittorio, was outstanding. He was born and raised in Venice and has a unique perspective on Venice life, an in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our glass blowing demonstration.

Fantastic tour to Murano, very informative guide and an amazing glass blowing demonstration. It was great to get a water taxi over and well worth the additional pennies for a structured tour. Time to shop and walk around at your own pace whilst having a handy guide to help.

Valentina was our guide. This was such an excellent, interesting tour. Valentina was so knowledgeable about the history of Venezia & the island of Murano & Burano. We thoroughly enjoy her personality & her expertise & enjoyed not only the glassblowing demonstration but also walking through the streets of Murano with Valentina. She explained how Venice, each island, the churches & palaces & large buildings were secured & built & supported, how the streets were changed over time & layered from grass to bricks to stone & how the bridges were built to connect each section & so much more.
