Wow, what a great experience it was! I learned so much from our amazing, fun, chatty, caring guide Leo! I had an amazing time! Leo asked if I need charger or blanket, took a few photos. This experience put a huge smile on my face. Highly recommend!

The Film Freak guide, or experience I should say- was amazing! So much history!!! Not your average tour! The time, video/audio that Leo put into everything really "takes you back!" Better than ANY other tour we've ever had! 10 stars! Leo has so much knowledge & goes above & beyond! Would recommend to anyone & everyone visiting LA.

I’m not from LA and I found it really difficult to decide which tour to take. There are so many and they literally throw themselves at you as you walk down Hollywood Blvd. I did a bit of research and Film Freak Tours stood out to me most. Still unsure, I booked it with a friend aaaand I feel like we really got the gold. The host is really knowledgable. He appears to have had a whole career interviewing film actors. He exudes a passion for motion picture. Knows a lot about the history of Hollywood. It all makes for a truly exciting experience. Loved it.

Leo has created one of the best film locations / Hollywood tours I have ever been on. The mixture between his knowledge of Hollywood and Film history and his funny, charismatic personality really gives this tour a lot of value. This tour was amazing from the moment it started! Leo Quinones was enthusiastic and engaging! He shared tons of little known movie facts, behind the scenes details, and recreated a true Hollywood experience! His love of this town and ‘show business’ is evident throughout the tour. Highly recommend taking this tour as a tourist and as a local! We changed our dinner reservation to eat at a Hollywood classic restaurant and booked tickets to a comedy show based on the tour! Leo is the perfect guide to this very entertaining tour! This is a must for movie lovers!

Even though their job must be very repetitive, you wouldn’t think so, with all their enthusiasm. Lots of knowledge & lots of movie locations. Leo, the Film Freak tour guide is charming, personable and a nice guy. He has parleyed a career of hob-nobbing with the stars as a radio & TV host into a career of escorting small groups around a town he knows well, and letting them in on stories he’s collected about the people and the famous spots that populate Hollywood. This is not some big bus full of people gawking out windows trying to see where celebrities live and play. It is focused on the movies that have been made in Hollywood, and the people who made them. It’s a small bus with 3 or 4 rows of seats and open windows (bring a sweater.) You drive all over Hollywood with an excellent driver and Leo in the front seat entertaining you the whole way. It is both interactive and informative; Leo keeps his audience engaged. Altho many or most of the movies and stories are from the good old days, it would still be interesting to most young kids. The many stops are brief and you don’t get out. One of the clever things he does is take you to the exact location of a scene from a famous movie, and then plays a snippet from that very scene on a big screen at the front of the bus. It’s relaxed and fun, and would work as well for a single person as it would for a small group traveling together. This is a tour for movie lovers and people who appreciate the rich history of Hollywood and it’s colorful inhabitants. You can gawk if you want to but you’ll also laugh and learn some things along the way. Thanx, Leo!
