The museums are both AMAZING!
We were only given 2 hours for the Uffizi, it should be the other way around. One needs 4 or 5 hours to begin to see the Uffizi. I didn't see a time limit on the Uffizi when I scheduled the visit!

The ticketing system is slightly confusing and convoluted. I made a booking, then a payment then a voucher then a ticket. Why so many steps? I then realised that Ufizzi was the 1st gallery (because I didnt fully read the instruction). Once at the gallery it was unclear how to “skip the queue”. After inside it seemed everyone got held up by security anyway whether a priority ticket holder or a queuer.
Both Galleries thankfully were amazing.

Actually both museums were fabulous, but the”Skip the line” promise is a joke. We stood in long lines at both venues; at the academe we were pulled out of line when we reached the door and asked to stand across the street to wait until the 2:30 group was called even though it was well past 2:30–in the pouring rain! For some reason our tickets and our friends’ had different times even though we purchased them together, arrived together, and visited the Uffizi together. They were allowed in while we were penned ant the side of the road. And you can imagine what it was like when the people in the holding area were called forward at last—a total stampede. Ridiculous. Definitely not worth the price.

For a"skip the line" experience, there was a lot of waiting. We probably waited half an hour (in different locations) to go into Uffizi. Then had to go back to the office to get tickets for Acadamia.... Then a 15 minute walk and more waiting in line.

We had skip the line tickets and audio guide although I was unable to download mine. It was simple enough to find our host and side entrance. We spent about 4 hours here and it was very busy! We headed straight for the top floor to see The Venus de Milo. We did get lost a few times as the floor layout is confusing. We also stopped for a very expensive coffee and cake but the gift shop was reasonably priced.

Both museums are a must see in Florence. My only complaint is that we had to rush a bit in the Uffizi in order to get to the Academia on time. However, having the skip the line tickets is wonderful. We walked up to special fast moving lines and got right in at both museums

I would not recommend Uffizzi. Too crowded. Academia was great. The David is truly breathtaking. The atmosphere at the museum was inspiring.

We enjoyed our time in the gallery but only given 3 stars because of insufficient instructions about picking up our tickets leaving us anxious that we would be late.

The website did not show the price in euros
It had dollars only show that I assumed were Australian dollars. Only aftdr i paid did it zhow it was US$ not AU$.
There were still queues and had go return to the ticket office begore getting the next ticket.
The ticket was at least 30% overpriced.

Easy to find location. Skip the line tickets were great. Only waited about five minutes at Acadamia. Walked right in at Uffizi!
