    Unfortunately we did not take this Tour and FORTUNATELY, they cancelled due to weather so we were given a refund. I'm sure it's a great Tour but we searched by CRUISE PORT and this is no where near it although it does seem to say that the Tour is in Akureyri, Iceland. If you're in Husavik, an hour away, then it may be a good Tour to take but NOT for Cruise Passengers. Luckily we found a Tour in Akureyri, where we actually were, and had a good time.

    We had a nice and great trip, lucky with the weather (sunny and low wind). Compliments to our guide, a marine biologist who gave nice insight and was connected to the group

    Loved our trip on this boat and were lucky to see 2 different whales. The very sunny weather helped make it extra special. Our guide Martha was incredibly knowledgeable about whales. Would definitely recommend.

    It was surely an experience if you haven’t been on a boat. The captain of the boat and the guide were good. But the whale watching part was underwhelming. All we saw were a few humps and a couple of tails.

    Great experience! Really nice guide who give us a lot of interesting information about the marine animals during our trip.

    What to expect

    The waters around Húsavík are home to several species of cetaceans, including the more common Humpback and Minke whales, and rarer visitors, such as Blue, Fin and Killer whales. White-beaked dolphins can also be seen on some of our tours. These magnificent creatures are a sight to behold, and our team of whale-watching experts works tirelessly to provide our guests with an adventure of a lifetime. In addition to whale watching, our tours offer breathtaking views of the beautiful Icelandic coastline and the chance to spot sea birds. The Atlantic Puffin can be spotted between May and mid August. Our boat Moby Dick provides a comfortable platform for observing wildlife. Our knowledgeable guides will provide a wealth of information about whales, their ecology and habitat, and other marine species. During a typical whale-watching tour, we will head West towards Kinnarfjöll mountain range, where the highest point is Syðri Háganga *(1284m). Across Skjálfandi Bay, we can expect to see the Humpback whale, and occasionally the Minke whale, and sometimes other species like Blue or Fin whale. We will spend the rest of our tour with the whales and return to Húsavík after 2.30/3 hours.
