We really enjoyed the two hours of kayaking. We saw many manatees and some alligators. Our guide CHARIS was incredible, showing us everything she knows about this wonderful place and its fauna, including jellyfish and crabs. An unforgettable experience. Thank you!

This trip was AMAZING!!!! I can't say enough good things. We paddled past dolphins, manatees and an alligator. Plus, we found a prehistoric horseshoe crab and all got to hold it. Our guide, Logan, told us all about the flora and fauna in a fun and engaging way. Plus, this company donates to local charities and those abroad. They obviously have a huge passion for protecting the environment and the guides clearly loved sharing their special slice of the world with us.

This tour was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip being able to see manatees and dolphins up close. Our tour guide Noah did a great job.

Noah was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much while having fun on the water. We saw dolphins and flamingos in the distance and got to see comb jellyfish, a horseshoe crab, manatees, and even an alligator in the water. We learned a lot and had fun!

We’ve been on kayak tours with several different companies, and Cocoa Kayaking is now the only one we’ll use! In the past month, we’ve been on 2 of their tours at Merrit Island Wildlife Refuge, once with Logan and once with Noah. They both gave us a great tour and told us lots of interesting information about the history and wildlife in the area. We had the thrill of encountering manatees (up close!), dolphins, herons, stingrays, cone jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, and alligators! Logan even took us to places that we had never been with other tour groups, and Noah showed us how to safely hold a horseshoe crab! They also took lots of pictures that were available to us online (for free!) after the tour, and their prices were better than the other tour groups. There’s no better way to experience the spectacular beauty of this area than on a kayak tour with Cocoa Kayaking!

I can't say enough good things about our trip. Logan, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing, and we plan to fly down (we live in Jersey) just to take more tours with him. You NEED this guy as your tour guide. He has enough knowledge, passion, experience, and wisdom to have the equivalent of a PhD in botany, marine biology, conservation, and sustainability. Incidentally, he also did a great job of teaching us about the culture in Florida county by county throughout the state. I was a high school teacher for 31 years, and he is truly one of the best educators I've ever met. Besides Logan's knowledge, he's also a great guide - entertaining, kind, funny, and thoughtful. I was incredibly moved by his love for and understanding of the manatees themselves. There was a particular one that he noticed was skinny and checked on it a few times as it came to the surface (almost as if to see him for help). He was very concerned and made plans to get help from local marine scientists in the area after our tour was finished. As for the sights we saw: AMAZING. We saw TONS of manatees, a few dolphins in the distance (because of the time of day they weren't close), an alligator, some kind of non-stinging jellyfish, sting rays (not the kind that kill!), tons of stunning birds and more. The manatees were so close (and friendly) that - if we were allowed - we could've pet them. Logan taught us all about the mangroves and what makes them so incredibly special and NECESSARY to the ecosystem. The depth and breadth of things I learned on this trip enriched my life. This 2-hour kayak trip opened up a whole incredible world to me that I knew nothing of before. It made me want to travel more because it helped me see how much I need to learn about the world. I will be back, and I will tell everyone it's well worth the trip. I will also tell them to find Logan. THANK YOU, Cocoa Kayaking! THANK YOU, Logan!!

Our guide was Logan and it was an absolute great time. Filled with information and beautiful views. And of course us getting lost before it even started Logan was able to come find where we parked, accommodated us and made this a great birthday experience. Beginning to End had a great time. (If Logan sees this: We actually towards the end of our time ran into a little group who added a little bit of experience to the tour, we actually saw them again AFTER we left (pictures included)

Cricket, my guide was great and fun to explore the Indian River with. She pointed out so many facts and wild life around the area. It was a beautiful couple of hours of kayaking. Saw plenty of manatees up close, and horseshoe crab. She took great pictures, so I could relax and enjoy the fun. Thank you so much and keep up the great kayaking adventure!
