Aerotel London Heathrow T2 & T3

I had a comfortable 2 night stay here by myself. Very convenient if you want to catch a flight early in the morning. Rooms are not big, about 10 by 10 steps, but very clean, modern. Location is more on T3 arrival hall. If you are coming from T2, you need to walk 10 to 15 minutes in the basement connecting walkway. In the connecting walkway, head towards T3 arrival hall.

One night stay in late September before early morning flight from Terminal 3 Arrived mid-afternoon to find plenty of parking spaces – so no problem. Check-in was easy – offered and took extra towels. Ours was room 2073 with a view of BA maintenance area at the end of runway – whilst there was a narrow picture window, we could see planes shooting past on final approach. This was a Premier+ room encompassing the new Evolution design – frankly I couldn’t see much difference between this one and a “standard” Premier+ room – perhaps in the bathroom - different tiling – walk-in shower – but in common with other PI’s still no conditioner - body wash only. However unlike other PIs we have stayed at there are no separate floors for Plus rooms rather all Plus rooms face the airport whist ordinary ones face the Bath Road - – whilst there is some aircraft noise it is not intrusive – and the noise changes with changeover from landing to take-off arrangements for the runways during the day and of course there are limited night flights – so only became aware of aircraft noise from around 06.00 As ever comfy large bed - AC controllable - more modern units - usual fridge - coffee maker - water – chocolates Broadband - easy access no code needed - but still slow considering we are almost at the end of the first quarter of the century. TV - Samsung - good quality - but very limited number of channels - no hint of Freeview - perhaps everyone mirrors…. Car parking charge has risen to £20 from £10 from when we last stayed - get QR code from reception and pay at machine by rear exit. Dinner - booked on check-in - restaurant not that busy but continuous churn - Thyme - pub grub menu - scampi + chips - smothered chicken - not bad could have been hotter - drink expensive - but overall good value. Not bad - people arrive in waves as planes land - car park not full - little internal noise - aircraft noise starts up around 06.00 - worth watching the cost of the room as it changes - ours fell by around £30 - convenient location - would stay again – Thank You…

The room was simple and clean. Had a 13hr layover and slept good for the night. Then off to the airport with the bus to the airport was outside which was convenient. The bus to airport was 10 mins. The check in was easy. It was a great layover hotel close to the terminal 3 which I flew out of to home. I would stay again for under 70 usd. Hope this helps.
