Hotel Le Marais

Courteous, professional staff. We enjoyed our visit! Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hotel courtyard. The hotel was quiet at night, even with a crowd in town for a Taylor Swift concert. Good, strong coffee was available as a free amenity.

This place was perfect! Can’t beat the location. I’m limited on walking distances so this was great. Being on a side street between bourbon and royal you’d think it would be noisy but it wasn’t. Rooms were very nice and clean. Bed was teeny bit hard but not uncomfortable and linens were very clean and pillows were soft. Courtyard was very nice although we didn’t use it. The complimentary coffee and bottled water downstairs was a big bonus to me

Rude employees, mainly the maids & maintenance, made a huge fuss about smoking outside in the courtyard. I was worried scared to go out outside the front of the hotel at night by myself so close to Bourbon. I get people don’t like to be around 2nd hand smoke (there was NOBODY else out in the courtyard) but when you pay good money to stay somewhere, you’d think they’d prioritize guest safety over disrespectfully forcing a guest with a panic disorder outside on the street to smoke a cig/vape. Seems guest safety isn’t important at this hotel. Be careful bc this hotel does not care about your safety, only your money. Also, the showers in the rooms have neither a shower curtain nor a sliding glass door to keep the water in the shower. Water goes everywhere in the bathroom bc it. Unacceptable & messy.
