The rooms and property have nice decor. Great location with target and vons right next door and everything you could need. The amenities were really outdated though. If this hotel upgraded their televisions and amenities they could easily go from a 6 to a 8 on a scale of 1-10.

The rooms haven't been updated since the 1960s. The air/heat unit looked like something out of a 1950s motel - and it didn't work. When they "fixed" it, two days later, it smelled so bad we never turned it on again. The bed is old and the electricity is iffy. The sink in my brother's room was so clogged it wouldn't drain at all. They were brushing their teeth in the bathtub. It took them three days to "fix" it and then it was only slightly better. The breakfast was okay. There was always a long wait to talk to anyone at the front desk. They don't clean rooms unless you ask them, and then only after at least three nights stay. The street outside the hotel is extremely busy and there are no signs allowing you to safely exit or enter the parking lot from the five lanes of constant traffic. We were broadsided while trying to leave the hotel, and since there are no signs "like keep driveway clear or allow traffic to exit") the accident is our fault. The woman who broadsided us called on two male friends who harrassed me and followed me around the parking lot. They stayed for hours and followed us back to our room. We were afraid to stay there that night. Even though we explained to the front desk why we were leaving early, and it was before noon, they still charged us for the last day. I wouldn't go there again for anything. Rooms: Haven't been updated since the 1960s. Safety: It is not in a safe neighborhood nor is it safe to leave or enter their parking lot.
