As a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member, I've had the pleasure of staying at many Sheraton properties across the country, but unfortunately, the Sheraton Brooklyn fell short of my expectations. The location is convenient, especially if you're heading to and from Manhattan, but the hotel itself is beginning to show its age. It could definitely use some updates to bring it up to par with other Sheraton hotels in major cities. There’s noticeable wear and tear, and overall it doesn’t provide the polished feel that I usually expect from the brand. Breakfast was perhaps the biggest disappointment. If it hadn't been free due to my status, I would have felt hard-pressed to pay for it. The options were limited and the quality was subpar, lacking the fresh and satisfying options I typically see at other Sheraton hotels. The Elite Concierge Lounge was also a letdown. It felt like an empty conference room with a coffee machine and a few granola bars—not the welcoming lounge experience I’m used to as an elite member. All in all, I would likely choose a different hotel for my next stay in Brooklyn.
