It was a delightful experience to venture beyond the confines of Seattle and immerse myself in the resplendent beauty of the natural world.

It was a super bad experience. Our guide, I don’t think he’s a real guide, he’s only a driver knew nothing about the national park, have us 0 info about anything on the way or in the park. We get to the national park and he tells us the paradise loop is shut and we will be at the longmire museum for 2 hours. Per the itinerary we were supposed to be at the museum for 20 mins then see a waterfall and then go to paradise. Paradise is the main place to go and that was closed. The tour operator should have informed us & cancelled the tour. It was a horrible experience, waste of money and then I even had to tip.

Duan was a wonderful guide. Pickup went smoothly and he was very communicative. Duan was so kind, helpful, and knew a lot about the mountain and area. He knew the best spots for good photos and was adamant about keeping us all safe which was fantastic. Highly recommend this trip !

We did not get to do what we paid for. Our guide was not suitable for the trip, she knew it would snow, didn't know how to put tire chains on her tires, after we helped with chains, and asked strangers to help, we learned that the chains were not for her car's tires. Wasted time, stressed and didn't get to explore. Disaster of a trip. I cannot belive that these guides are not trained with basic job skills required to take tourists exploring during winter. Beyond disappointed.

First of all, the meeting point was far away from the city (20 minutes away with the highway) and I had to pay 70$ for an Uber. Not what was written in the description (transfer included from most Seattle neighborhoods). It was raining a lot and the guide (Theo) told us on the way that the top of the mountain is closed but that we would be able to see other parts of the mountain, including waterfalls etc. I was already wondering why they didn’t cancel the excursion. When we got there, I understood that we would only stay at the very base of the mountain. He told us to go to the tourist point or « museum » and spend some time there (it was a tiny museum with signs of what we would be able to see on the mountain like animals and rocks and he didn’t even explain anything to the Chinese tourists who couldn’t read the signs in English). So we did a 5-10 min tour of what was present there at the base of the mountain - trees and little fountains - and he said we could climb the trees that fell. He didn’t explain anything about the nature or anything. Just like « oh look at this red root » and wasn’t able to explain war it was. He wasn’t a real guide, he was an IT guy doing that on the side. It was raining a lot and he said we should eat in the car. I said that I didn’t want to and he proposed to go eat outside of the local hotel. He gave us 45 minutes to go to the gift shop and do whatever we wanted (we were just protecting ourselves from the pouring rain). Then he said that the waterfall excursion was canceled because of the rain and that we had to go back. We barely stayed there. We basically just went there to go to a gift shop and have a quick lunch in front of the Mount Rainier under the pouring rain. It’s like paying to go to Disneyland to just end up in the gift shop. He should have canceled the trip knowing the road was closed and the bad weather conditions but I guess he just wanted the money.

Getting stock on ice for over 20 min. Raining inside the vehicle. Pushing the van to be able to get on the road. Praying for my safety. Unable to finish my tour.

I don’t really write a review but I would NOT recommend this tour to someone who can drive themselves. The guide Mia was not fluent in English, a bad driver, and also lacking the knowledge of the area. Our car had an issue even the Mia recognized it before she picked us up, and we were stuck in the park nearly two hours after we managed to push the vehicle forward to get out of the parking lot. We were also required to pay the service fee at the end of the tour after the far from satisfying experience.

The organization was good and our guide Mia was amazing because she cares about everyone and everything. The museum is small but give a good look and information about the parc.

Took the Mt. Rainier day tour from Seattle with Stella. The trip was amazing and Stella was the best guide! Great communication and coordination in advanced. There was snow on the mountain so we had to change from the usual route but Stella made sure we were still able to see everything and do a little hiking as well. We really enjoyed our time, 10/10 would recommend!

The ride up and back was great. I really enjoyed the water falls areas. Jake out driver/ guide was excellent in his knowledge of the areas and very friendly. I was amongst a group of 14 Asians that were all very kind and pretty sure that they were delighted in the tour and the guide. I look forward to seeing him again in my travels in the near future. Great job Jake! 😎
