Callum and Lucas were an excellent guide and host. We learnt so much about the history of Launceston. We even got to see the rare sight of a young male sea eagle with an eele in his talons. I would highly recommend the experience

Very relaxing enjoyable cruise. Informative commentary from the Captain as we cruised along the Tamar River. The wine tasting was an added bonus.

Once all guests were on board the cruise started with the obligatory safety demonstration delivered with a healthy dose of humour. Lynn’s knowledge of the waterway and history was excellent and the experience all the better with beautiful blue skies. Although I did not partake the morning tea on offer it looked ok and the wine tasting on the return leg was a nice touch as too was the provision of sunscreen. Highly recommend this tour.

We did the 2.5 hour cruise including Cataract Gorge. The cruise was great. We loved the informative commentary from Callum, it was spot on for us as we like a bit of information and history. It was a pity some of the others didn’t appreciate as much and talked loudly through a lot of it. We appreciated morning tea and the opportunity to try some Tassie wines and beer. It was a good trip and we would certainly recommend it.

It was very deceiving we thought we were going to see cataract gorge and we saw nothing! All we saw was the river not happy,

Sitting out on the bow of the boat as we travelled along. Definitely the best seats in the house. Commentary by the Captain was informative, clear and entertaining. Cabin staff very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and a leisurely way to spend a morning in Launceston. It would have been even more pleasant had it been a ‘smoke free’ trip.

Nice supply of morning tea including muffins, fruit cake biscuits and tea/coffee. The only bad thing was the boat had mechanical troubles and put a dampener on the tour. Got full refund and decided to walk to Cataract Gorge instead. The tour was ok. Got cut short due to technological issues.

We just received an email letting us know that they have cancel our tour on Monday October the 16th. We booked it months ago to make sure we didn’t miss out while we were in Launceston. Now, we can’t find any available tours so we are totally missing out! We are so upset and disappointed! There was no even an explanation why it has been cancelled! Unbelievable!
