Beautiful 2 hour of easy kayaking near sunset. We had top notch kayaks and Max was an informative guide about the entire area.

Fabulous, don't miss it! We went on a cold and windy day, but this didn't dampen the spirits of the guides or the group. The women who organize and guide the tour were careful about safety and very passionate about the environment, as well as informed about birds, oysters, and shorelines. If you're looking for a family excursion or are on spring break, and have been in a kayak before, this is great. Beginners are welcome too. We saw only one dolphin, perhaps related to the time of day.

staff was openly communicative the entire time. they also were flexible with our schedule since we hit some additional traffic. it's definitely a hard experience so use those arms,. KD was a great tour guide!!

This was a very well-run operation, and I appreciated how amazing and patient our guide was. The only reason I would not give this 5-stars is that we didn’t get to see as much wildlife as we had hoped (only a brief dolphin sighting) and it was very difficult kayaking on the windy day we were there.

Absolutely fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Charleston. It was a good mix of paddling, enjoying the sights, and seeing beautiful wildlife. Because our group was small and had kayaking experience, we were able to cover a lot of distance and see multiple areas within the estuary. We saw several types of birds (including a nesting osprey), stingrays, fish, and at the end of the tour, a group of dolphins. We got to witness the dolphins feeding and playing with one of their babies, and at times they were within just a few feet of our kayaks. It was a truly once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Maddie was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made the whole experience even better. The whole company was very communicative and professional, and made the booking experience easy. The location is a quick 15-20 minute drive (we took an Uber) from downtown and very convenient if you are also visiting Folly Beach or Morris Island. Would return and do it again in heartbeat!

This is our second time at Charleston Outdoor Adventures and they are the best! This time, we did the kayak adventure, and a dolphin jumped about 5 feet from us! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Laine, our guide, was friendly and fun, but she also provided ecological information which was very cool. Safety is paramount with this group! We will be back - excellent experience!

Tour guide Will was outstanding. We were sad not to see fish, turtles or dolphins. Kayaks were comfortable and the scenery was awesome.
