We booked the tour 1 day in advance and I was not sure how it would turn out. Luckily we were alone at the walk tour, and our guide could speak our mother tongue too! Candice was really knowledgeable and friendly. The kids loved asking questions and looking around to spot koalas. We saw in total 14 koalas, most of them awake and interested by us somehow . I highly recommend this tour which is not crazy expensive as you see koala into the wild and found out also some fun facts about the nature.

We booked a koala walking tour in advance of our arrival at Kangaroo Island. We were not disappointed with the near 120 minute experience. There was a friendly welcome and check-in and then we set off with our guide, Fox. We were just a couple on the tour, which was great, although the tour does need a minimum of 2 to run. Fox checked in with us to make sure we were ok during the walk. We started the walk through lovely woodland, with Fox explaining interesting facts as we went. We found several koalas, which were picture perfect and our photos will make happy memories. The terrain changed several times, including alongside a river (although with little water). It was really interesting to see the changing landscape. After about an hour and 10 minutes, we were given the option of looking for more koalas or taking a walk out to the sand dunes (hence the name Little Sahara). We took the dunes option. The walk so far was pretty much on the flat, but on the dunes there are few ups and downs, but no problem for anybody used to walking a little. The dunes were spectacular and it was an opportunity to see more wildlife, including various birds and a goanna. We were very pleased with our tour and Fox added real value to the trip. We would thoroughly recommend.

Emily was kind enough to help us get a last minute booking. Joel was a great guide, friendly, personable and full of information. We saw severa Koalas and Joel taught us a lot about the area and many of the native plants. It was a great tour and well worth it. Highly recommend it!!

We had a beautiful experience with Joel, our guide, on this walking tour. Joel was a mine of information not only on the Koalas, but on all other flora and fauna as well! We spotted about 15 Koalas and a couple with their young! It is only as he pointed them out to us, could we really spot them as they can be difficult to see . We also saw an Echidna, which was a special treat!

This was a fantastic experience for our whole group, with ages ranging from 7-73 years. Our fabulous guide Yasmin was knowledgeable and engaging. We spotted 30 koalas during our two hour walk! Plus trying native Bush foods and identifying animal tracks. Great experience, highly recommend!

We saw lots of Koala's in our tour with Sofia! She was an excellent guide, and told us a lot about the Koala's, but also shared her knowledge about other animals, trees, plants and history of Kangaroo Island. We really had a great tour! Mind: on TripAdvisor you cannot book the tour, go to their website.

We were thrilled to see many koalas on this walking tour. Having been promised that koalas were on the property where we were staying on Kangaroo Island, and frustratingly finding no trace of them over several days, we were cautiously optimistic when we discovered that this tour was available (on our last day on KI). There is nothing like seeing koalas in the wild, and we saw many of them on this walk, including mothers with joeys. Many thanks to our friendly and personable guide - we learned a great deal and had a most enjoyable time.

We did the Koala tour and had a great experience! Our guide Candice was super friendly and so knowledgeable about the plants, trees and wildlife around. We booked an early slot and it was just the 2 of us so it was like a private tour. It's an easy track and we went at a relaxed pace, I think we counted seven Koalas + their joeys. Very fun to see the tracks left in the sand by the various animals too! We ended up going to the top of the sand dunes at the end but it's really worth exploring around it too by booking this tour.
