Vanessa, the guide, was a great story teller. She showed the group numerous but diverse things. For two examples, she showed us the original main gate to Barcelona (archeology and history) and the government plaza (architectural and historical). But she also included artistic items (Picasso's first site of a solo exhibition and a mosaic wall mural), religious buildings and historical areas (two cathedrals and the Jewish section of Barcelona) and spoke about the tension of Catalonian history throughout. This doesn't even begin to cover everything we saw; as we don't want to spoil it. And lastly, Vanessa was very good about answering questions raised by the group. We had a fantastic time.

Considering it was Rolene’s first tour she did well! The content of the tour could have been better.
