What a great way to spend a couple of hours, seeing bits of the French Quarter you might otherwise miss and hearing some educational stories along the way....all thru the lens of voodoo. Good pace, great content, and really brilliant guide (Sean).

I was looking for a culturally appropriate voodoo tour, that wasn’t problematic and sensationalist. New Orleans Secret Tours did not disappoint! Evian was incredible. They intelligently and engagingly navigated the history of voodoo, the culture and practices, and much more. It was really good and I highly recommend it.

Our tour group was small which made it easier to hear the guide. Our guide was Evian (spelled like the water but pronounced differently) and they were very well informed. We met at American Townhouse Restaurant & Bar and then walked to Congo Square and through the French Quarter, stopping at various sites. The tour was about New Orleans vodou and it helped dispel any falsehoods about the practice - voodoo dolls are not part of the practice, just something for the tourists, etc.
