I can not imagine a better tour. Marcello did all the perfunctory things as being on time, driving safely, and keeping a head count etc with ease. In addition he shared his extensive knowledge of Salvador Dali with us all and served as our interpreter. With his knowledge it was a much richer experience. His enthusiasm for Dali was contagious. In addition he had an interesting story or legend to share snd also educated us on general topics such as weather, farming, holiday traditions. It was a most enjoyable day.

Excelente excursión en el cual pudimos disfrutar de maravillosas vistas y aprender de Dali en contexto. Éramos un grupo de 8 así que nos dividimos en dos furgonetas guiadas por Carmen y Marsel (y Alex de conductor). Ambos muy conocedores de Dali, la región y su historia. Terminamos el día podiendo apreciar a Catalunya y al marco histórico en el cual vivió Dali. Muchísimas gracias al grupo de Girona Experience! Excelente tour I which we were able to enjoy the magnificent views and learn about Dali in context. We were a group of 8 so we were divided in two vans that were led by Carmen and Marsel (with Alex at the wheel). Both are very knowledgeable of Dali, the region, and its rich history. We ended the day being able to appreciate more of Catalunya and the historical framework in which Dali lived. Our many thanks to the Girona Experience team!

Wonderful full day private tour with Ramon and our driver, Alex! Ramon is extremely knowledgeable about art, not only Dali, and could put Dali in context with his predecessors Miró, Picasso, Matisse. It was a relaxing, personalized and pleasant day, and not rushed, with time to visit both museums at a slow pace.

This was a great outing made extra special by our knowledgeable and friendly guide Ramon and his driving companion Alex. I especially enjoyed seeing the Dali museum on our day long outing and learning more about the artist and the person from Ramon. Being driven everywhere by Alex made the excursion stress free and we never got lost nor had to search for parking. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful day with Girona Experience, visiting two Dali museums as well as the charming seaside town of Cadaques, which was such an inspiration to Dali. We were lucky enough to have an art history student as our guide who provided many insights into Dali's life and his art. The museums are very strict about entry times, so it was extremely helpful to have our guide watching the time and ensuring that we got where we needed to on time. That said, the day included a nice stop for lunch and strolling Cadaques. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Dali. Even if you're not a big fan, the sites are worth seeing.

Alvar was a superior guide to the Dalí museums-very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging. He accompanied us into the Dalí Theater Museum, explaining the artwork and putting it in historical and cultural context. The day was very well paced, and the driver Alex kept us feeling safe on winding hilly roads. We covered a lot of ground in a full day, making this tour worth the cost for myself and my friend.

Girona is a charming city that worth visiting, not as a day trip from Barcelona but staying there for 2 to 3 days. We did the Dali triangle with "Girona Experience" and it was fantastic. Marc accompanied us on a visit to the museums and greatly enriched our visit with his knowledge. We would have planned more time in this beautiful city to get to know the Costa Brava with them, as well as the Medieval towns of Catalonia. Thanks Marc and Carme. My husband and I just returned home after a wonderful first-time visit to Catalonia. So beautiful! Experience Girona provided a private full-day tour, even though we had paid for an eight-person tour. As we were the only travelers that day, we were so delighted that the trip was not cancelled. Our pick up at the hotel was on time, driven by Alex, in a clean, modern and comfortable van (automatic sliding doors!). His skill on the winding mountain passages to Cadaques were exceptional. It is a very beautiful journey into the mountains to get to the isolated fishing village of Cadaques; inspiration and home to Dali and Gala. We visited their unique house, as well as the Dali Museum in Figueres. Suzanne, our exceptional tour guide was a delight. Her extensive knowledge of all-things-Dali proved to spark many conversation to and from our destination. Her gentle, thoughtful demeanor, matched with a lifetime knowledge of Catalonia was remarkable. We were so lucky to spend our day with Suzanne. We ate lunch on the water at Talla Restaurant in Cadaques, which was excellent (make a reservation for a table on the water) Thanks Suzanne & Alex for a wonderful tour.

As much as we enjoyed discovering Dali's house, we shouldn't have gone to the Museum. This seems to us to be reserved for an informed, connoisseur public, adhering to Surrealism and passionate about Dali We haven't understood everything about his works! And despite a reservation, many, many people? It's difficult to take the time to "dissect" a Work to try to understand it, to appreciate it or not!
