What to expect
Rummels Bucht
The tour goes past various nightlife locations. We don't go anywhere, and out of respect for the places we don't stop in front of them. The Rummelsbucht is affected by the displacement of the entire area. We want to look at how gentrification and the construction of an aquarium are displacing the local subculture.
Urban Spree Gallery
The Urban Spree Gallery is located on the RAW site. Different uses in the nightlife and cultural kind make the place special. But even here strong change threatens to destroy the spirit.
Berghain
We'll walk past Berghain with a little bit of space and take a look at what is probably the most famous place in Berlin's nightlife to see how closely the art scene is interwoven with club culture. Numerous exhibitions and collaborations with, for example, the Berlin State Ballet illustrate why clubs are much more than pure hedonism.
Holzmarkt 25
The Holzmarkt emerged from the night life and is an outstanding example of alternative urban development. After the tour, we can end the evening here with a drink.
