Joe was AMAZING! We did a private tour with my husband & mother in law. Joe was knowledgeable, kind & patient! We saw alligators, several different species of birds including osprey, a snake, air plants, Cyprus trees, Spanish moss, button bush & bladderwort. The tour was approximately 3 hours but it went so fast because we had so much fun!

It was so much fun. Alligators, snakes, turtles, fish, and birds. Joe was our guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. It was just our family and another family of 4. Nice small group. Mangrove tunnels were super cool.

Our experience with the mangrove kayaking in the Turner River was amazing. The whole process was very simple and the instructions were easy to follow. When we got to the boat ramp our guide Aidan gave each of us a bag with goodies and told us how it would work. They had these really nice kayaks that we launched off of and then had a brief orientation. Aidan was very easy to understand and follow and he made the adventure super fun.
The actual kayaking is easy if you are experienced in kayaking and understand the basics of it. Don't be afraid to touch things and push off of stuff while you're moving! We saw a few birds, alligators, and even river otters! While the wildlife was nice, it wasn't the greatest nature show of all time. However, it made up for that by just being a stunning trip down these unique mangrove tunnels. Overall it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend. Thank you Aidan and Shurr Adventures!

We will meet at the intersection of highway 41 (Tamiami Trail) and 29. There is a Large white building (This is not our office). When you are at the meeting spot you you will see the Marathon Gas Station with a Subway across the street, this is the closest restroom until we get to the kayak launch.

Our professional naturalist guides are the top in their field with their knowledge and abilities. During this adventure the guides will teach our guests everything thing they need to know about paddling and will give a wonderful interpretation of the Everglades Ecosystem. Our group size is the smallest on the river making for a personalized experience.
