What a wonderful afternoon rafting down the Boise River with my 21 year old son. Randy was an amazing tour guide. He was super organized and prepared with waterproof jackets, waterproof shoes, snacks, and waters for our trip. He is passionate about the outdoor adventures in the Boise area and was an expert guide down the river. He also took photos of us with his own phone that will be emailed to us so that we didn’t have to take our phones on the river. In September the river doesn’t flow super fast, but there were still a few small fun rapids and only a small amount of paddling to get around obstacles. It was a beautiful day, and we saw lots of wildlife including a great blue heron, rainbow trout and lots of different types of ducks and birds. We had the river almost to ourselves. I highly recommend this tour for a beautiful and fun adventure down the Boise river!

The most memorable part of the trip was shooting over the rapids. I went in mid-September, and the river was very peaceful. We had the river mostly to ourselves. The guides were first rate!

Soooo much fun. Great guide and just the right amount of paddling and small rapids made it thoroughly enjoyable!

Such a fun experience for anyone who wants to try river rafting! The rapids were pretty mellow, but there was kind of a big one ( at least for me!) It was only my husband & I, but I think our 5-year-old could have done the tour with us with no problem. We saw lots of wildlife, the river was beautiful, and our guide was great! He took lots of pictures of us during our trip & knew so much about the river & wildlife.

Excellent trip with interesting and safety conscious guide. Would recommend for family interested in some mild white water rafting.

The rafting trip on Aug 5 on the Boise River was great. Our oarsman Mike was terrific. (If I got his name wrong, I apologize. He was the former chemical analyst, and his wife is a graphic designer). Mike made the trip exceptional with his knowledge of rafting, the pecularities of the river, safety, and ability to identify all the animals. Very nice guy too. This was not my 1st rodeo. I have rafted the Salmon, the American River in Northern Calif, and the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Our trip with Mike was just as memorable. I strongly recommend BROO for river rafting in Boise, Idaho.

Lovely afternoon on the Boise River. Our guides Adam & Elliott were fantastic. We were taking a break on the banks when a group of independent rafters with tubes and pool rafts ( not recommended for the river) got into trouble. Our capable guides jumped into action to rescue them, secure their items and ferry them across the river to safety. Class act!

My family and I really enjoyed our trip. The tour guy was really patient with our rowdy kids. He was also really knowledgeable. This is a great experience for the whole family. I would highly recommend and would definitely do it again.
