The tour is 50% on road 50% off road, we didn’t go to the mountain we were told we would and also the tour guide took photos and said they would be uploaded and they never were

If you are thinking of booking a dune buggy drive we would highly recommend Aventura Lanzabuggy. Nachos and his colleagues where amazing very professional and friendly, we had a great time seeing a lot of the island following Nachos on the tracks.

Just wow. I had an absolutely incredible experience doing the 3 hour trail tour with my bf who ended up having to drive the entire time due to me being very unprepared and wearing open toe shoes! We set off in 2 groups and did a mixture of on road and off road with a couple of planned stops for refreshments, toilet & knowledge of the vineyards and island. I have to say, the tour leaders… Bertie and Tony, made everything 10x better - they have great chemistry and banter as well as great knowledge of the area. We had so many laughs and felt safe the entire time. I can honestly say this tour was one of the highlights of my holiday and would highly recommend seeing the island this way. The views were breathtaking too & very reliable transport to and from hotel. Bertie & Tony - we were your best group of the day but you made our experience a memory we will never forget! Thank you x

Although we had a car we chose to get picked up from near where we were staying. A coach picked up 10-15 people from around Playa Blanca and drove us to the tour centre. I booked two buggies and we took our two teenage girls along for the ride. You need a picture driving licence as details of this are taken before the tour, then you have an opportunity to get water and if you didn’t bring one, to buy a bandana to wear over your face - an absolute essential! You also need trainers and sunglasses as it is VERY dusty on the off road sections. This is a tour so about two thirds of the time you are on public roads - driving on the right of course so if you aren’t that confident a driver - be aware of that. The buggies are automatic and great fun to drive! I wasn’t sure if our two girls (16 and 17) would enjoy it, but as passengers they enjoyed the scenery as we wound across the island, and from the shrieks as we went off road I think they got as much out of it as we did! We had a decent twenty minute stop midway through the drive to go to the toilet and get drink/ snacks. Our fab guides were the ninja team - Nacho, Roberto and Robby - all of whom were fun and the info they passed on when we stopped was very informative. A great and more unusual way to see parts of the island.

Wow not your usual way to see the island of Lanzarote but by far the best (close second is the camels). If you’re a petrol head or even fancy something different then book this trip. Great views, adrenaline fuelled and amazing guides. Thanks Nacho and Bertie (and the rest of the team) for providing plenty of laughs along the way and your photographic expertise.
