This was a very fun, casual fishing trip. This was our first experience with ocean fishing and Steve and Tino were welcoming and very helpful. Almost everyone caught fish and they both took care to explain what was going on and how to fish the conditions we had. They showed concern for all the passengers comfort and safety. They shared information about Oahu and what we were seeing and answered our questions. They even filleted our catch to take with us or cooked it on the boat for all to share.

They canceled the day before the trip saying they had to drop the engine, They had engine problems but we were at the harbor for another trip and ask the caption and she wasn’t aware of it so when she called they said yes but she had just finished doing a trip on the same boat that was suppose to have engine problems.

This was our first time offshore fishing. Everyone caught a fish, most caught several. It was also nice just being out on the boat looking at Oahu.

Watching the excitement on my grandsons face when we caught fish, we were also thrilled that they took the time to cook the fish for us to try, it was the 1st time he tried fish and loved it.

Man this was a fun trip. The captain and deck hands were great and very helpful. A few people on the boat got sea sick, but that happens. I caught more than I expected. All too small to keep or eat. But Tino caught a large fish to cook and share. Hung out and had some good food afterwards. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks folks!

The mono line was not ideal for sharp teeth fish. Braid would have been more effective. Bait could have been better.
