Your Itinerary

High Falls

High Falls is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Western North Carolina. If weather and time allows you will also explore the base of the falls to get up close to the falls and feel the mist and breeze :)

Hooker Falls

Hooker Falls is the first waterfall we will explore on our hike. This is a beautiful, serene location - perfect for making and enjoying a cup of coffee together. You will sit and enjoy the falls while leaning how to make a great cup of coffee outdoors.

Triple Falls Trail

Triple Falls is the second waterfall on the hike. For these falls, we will view them from the overlook area. The overlook is at the top of the steepest climb of the day so we will stop there for a water break and time to take photos of this super pretty waterfall. :0

This was a wonderful hike and the scenery was beautiful. Out guide was also very knowledgeable about the park. I'm looking forward to doing more of her hikes!

You don't need a guide for this little hike. It is very pretty back there but be careful near Cedar Mountain. There is a lot of crime in this area. East Fork has vandals, thieves and drug addicts. Lock your car and take your belongings. They don't want to tell you this because of tourism.

Our local hike guide did not get notice of our booking so did not show at our scheduled time; however, she was very responsive when we contacted her to inform of our disappointment and immediately refunded our monies. We will try again when we return to the area.

Katlyn provided an incredible guided tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. She was personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, ensuring that we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the hike without having to worry about directions or the next steps. Upon our arrival, Katlyn greeted us with steaming hot coffee and created a beautiful setting at the first waterfall. She even packed extra snacks for us to enjoy along the way. Throughout the journey, she was excellent at keeping up with our pace, allowing us to stop frequently and happy to take pictures of us. By the end of the trip, it felt like we were spending time with a close friend. We will be eager to hike with Katlyn again when we're in the area for another adventure.
