    We had a great day visiting islands on the Ria Formosa. Ricardo our guide was brilliant. He was friendly and knowledgable and obviously loved his job . Highly recommended

    Sancho our skipper, gave us a delightfully informative tour. He told us about the clam and oyster farms, history of the region and the livelihoods of the fishing community. From Olhao, we visited the light house at Farol, stopped in Culatra for a superb fish lunch and then on to the eastern end of the island for a quick swim. Highly recommended. Sheila and Trevor

    The skipper João Sancho was great during the tour. All the time giving information about what is visible in the beautiful Rio Formosa. All day no hurry so that our 5 hours trip took 6,5 hours. Perfect trip, very nice captain.

    It was a fantastic experience. Very friendly and knowledgable guide. Within 5 hours we experienced 3 islands, oysters farms and many birds. We enjoyed it very much.

    The captain of the boat, João explained in detail the history of and present workings of the Ria Formosa. The islands around Olhão have a rich history and with his knowledge of the past and present he gave us a great understanding of this beautiful working waterway.
