    A phenomenal way to see Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! Mary P was an absolute delight! She was entertaining and educational as she shared the history of the area with stories from childhood and her family on the island. It was so much more comfortable than the typical cruise ship cattle-herding on buses trip. There were many stops and we never felt rushed. We got a delayed start due to fog, but it ended up being a magical and perfect day!

    We took the tour to Arcadia National Park with Bill Thurstan. He was informed, entertaining, considerate, colorful, and knew the history of the Park and area thoroughly. It is an exceptional national park!

    Our Guide Jim was awesome. He show us around the park, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and offered us refreshments at every stop. Our family had a great day.

    Rogier was a fantastic tour guide. We had a great day seeing everything we could have never seen on our own - we covered all the spots in Acadia. This was the best four hours of our trip!

    Bill our tour guide is a lifelong resident of the Bar Harbor area and is extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history. The attractions are visually stunning and made better by his humor. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

    We will pick up from any Downtown Bar Harbor lodging, no need to find parking! If you are staying outside of downtown Bar Harbor we will meet you at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center of Acadia National Park. There is a large parking lot. The Guides will meet you under the covered pavilion. If you are coming by CRUISE SHIP please book a tour start time at least 2 HOURS after arrival. Feel free to explore town before your tour, the guide can pick up from anywhere in downtown Bar Harbor.

    Hulls Cove Visitor Center

    If you are staying outside of downtown Bar Harbor we will meet you at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, the main entrance to the park. There is a large parking lot. We will meet you under the pavilion.

    See the touring road created by the Rockefeller family to enjoy the beauty of Acadia.

    Somes Sound is a fjord, a body of water running deep into Mount Desert Island, the main site of Acadia National Park in Maine, United States. Its deepest point is approximately 175 feet, and it is over 100 feet deep in several places. The sound almost splits the island in two.
