Our tour guide met us at our hotel - excellent guide with an excellent command of the history of the Tower of London and Jewels - next on to the British Museum which was also an excellent tour. Our guide was extremely important in getting us to hit the major highlights, including the Rosetta Stone and Elgin marbles. However with the recent heat wave hitting London, several of the major exhibition rooms upstairs were closed due to excessive heat. We missed a lot of very important art and exhibits. This tour should be minimum 5 hours and really 6 hours would be better served.
