More about this experience

Join us on this adventure aboard one of our fantastic Portuguese jeeps. Throughout this adventure we will explain the history of some of the most important monuments of Sintra and show you some of the best sights that our town has to offer (one of them is top secret). During the morning you will have the opportunity to visit the most visited monument in Portugal and that is a UNESCO world heritage site. After the visit to the palace we will continue to the village of colares, where we will leave at your disposal the choice of one of the local restaurants that exist there. For the afternoon we leave the most exciting part of this adventure, where we will pass through off roads, beaches and breathtaking viewpoints. Finally, we finish in Cascais, where you can visit the historical center of the town, some of the beaches and take the train back to Lisbon.

Our tour started with Rafael picking us up in a bright red vintage jeep and greeting us with local pastries (which were delicious). We went on a one-of-a-kind tour of the coastline. We even got to see vantage points only accessible by jeep. On the way back, Rafael was kind enough to take us to a spot with amazing views of the palace and made great recommendations of places to eat in Sintra. Unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!!!

My family of four took an all day Jeep tour with Henrique from Sintra to Cascais. Henrique went out of his way to make us comfortable and cater the tour to us. Since Henrique is from the area, he was a wealth of information. The tour was well planned and we spent some time in the Jeep with frequent stops and sights along the way. He was engaging with our kids, ages 10 and 12 and a delight to spend the day with. He took us to a delicious, local spot for lunch with an amazing view. It was a perfect day trip activity from Lisbon and we felt like this tour gave us a high quality, personalized experience. We highly recommend this tour group to anybody.

This was my first visit to Portugal and I was very excited to explore Sintra. I was lucky enough to find Jummpy Adventures and book my 8 hour trip tour with them. I was nervous at first as I was traveling with my mother who’s over 70, and I wasn’t sure if she could handle the trip. However, with the kindness and great care of Henrique, my mom and I had an amazing experience. We stopped in the most important places of Sintra and beautiful beaches and views!

The tour experience was terrific. Rafael was very accommodating and knowledgable. There was a mixture of tourist sites and local sites that made it very fun and enjoyable to see. The transportation using an open-aired jeep increased the experience with access to views and exploration around the towns of Sintra and Cascais. The lunch by the ocean had incredible views and delicious authentic Portuguese cuisine. I would highly recommend this tour for any individuals, friends, or families looking for a unique experience outside the normal tour bus!

This tour was an amazing time. Henrique was an amazing guide that was eager to make sure we had a good time while sharing his knowledge of the local area and history. Very cool tour. Mario was an excellent “team leader” for the journey. Restaurant was a great local place with outstanding food and wine. The beach and cliffs were amazing and the weather cleared up enough to roll the top up and go “jeep” surfing in their vintage Portuguese 4x4’s. Great choice of a tour.
