We had a fantastic day on our wine tour with Romana. She is very knowledgable about the Tuscany wine region and we learned a lot about Chianti wines. The two wineries we visited were excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

The wine tasting tour was beyond good! Romana, our driver, was really nice and knew a lot about the neighborhoods and wine as well. We went to two wineries where we got to try 4-5 different wines and also had some snacks to the wine. Best thing of our trip to Florence!

We had an absolute blast on this trip with Romana as our tour guide! She is so much fun and incredibly knowledgeable about wine and this region of Italy. She took us to beautiful family-owned/operated vineyards with great wine selections. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

On 7 June, 2023 my daughter booked a winery tour in the neighbourhood of Florence. It was my first time in Italia. Before we stayed a few days in Rome, which was fantastic. We travelled on 6 June with the train to Firenze. And the next day was our tour with Romana. Romana Santoni is a very nice person and an excellent guide. She understands her profession. She is very communicative and you feel so much at ease with her. We visited two wineries, first of al the fantastic Poggio Torselli 1427. My God this was right from a postcard. The guide there named Andrea Vanni was a very good host of the winery. We visited the beautiful garden and after that he told us the story of the Chianti Classico. We had a very nice wine tasting experience there, together served with some nice local delicacies. The second winery was the estate of Maurizio Brogioni. We were welcome by the dog Spritz and we felt right away at home in this place. He told us the differences of the olive oil and the production of his chianti wines. After that, we were sitting at a table overlooking the beautiful area and playing with the dog. We had an excellent private tour. Romana was incredibly knowledgable and gave us such a fantastic day in Florence. We also learnt about the history while travelling in the car, culture and much more. We both are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide. She was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested and leaving us with incredible memories. We still miss Italy and expecially Florence very much. Ciao, Ria and Dalia

Booked the tour with Romana after hearing how amazing it was from a friend. It was truly spectacular, from the car drive through Tuscany to the story Romana explained about the grapes and Chianti 🍇 right before we arrived at the Winery. The best day of our trip and recommend it to everyone visiting Florence or is in the region. Both wineries were so beautiful, and rustic. The wine prepared for us was delicious and we were happy to purchase some wine to take home. Thank you so much Romana, my mum and I will forever remember it!

This was a highlight of our 3 week Italy trip. Romana was super knowledgeable, friendly, and the family owned wineries she took us to were perfect. The wine, snacks, and views were out of this world. It was a magical experience and would do it again in a heart beat. Romana picked us up at our hotel, and we drove through the countryside, stopped at Greve for brief history lesson, had a cup of coffee, and picked up a souvenir. We went to the first winery where the winemaker made home made pasta with wine sauce — amazing! On the drive back we stopped at a lookout overseeing all of Florence and was beautiful. You need to book this tour!

I would definitely recommend this tour to someone looking to try new wines and have a beautiful view of Florence! I am a white wine drinker but still enjoyed this tour although there were more red wines. I am also vegetarian and that was not an issue as they were very accommodating as long as you eat bread and cheese. The last location is a butcher shop, so I sat at a table in the front until the group was done going through it, but the host brought me to another room and gave me extra bread with oil while I waited. Super sweet! I also would not have been able to experience the country side on my own so I’m really happy I did this! The vineyards were all various sizes and felt very different from one another which I enjoyed!

This tour was amazing! The wines were all good, even for me and my wife who aren’t big red wine drinkers. Each stop of the tour was a great experience taking you through the different sizes of wineries in the Florentine countryside. The food/ snacks served were delicious, the 2nd stop served the most delicious focaccia I’ve ever had. I ate lunch before going on this tour, and with all the snacks served, you can definitely skip dinner if you wanted. One of the locations also explains the olive oil process very clearly, and at the end you get to try the olive oil!
