What to expect
Glastonbury
We'll walk around the lanes and fields of Glastonbury, meeting the most prominent trees and taking in some spectacular views. There will be time to talk, to observe, and time to relax and enjoy the natural surrounds. The tour is accompanied by poetry recitals and a short performance of gentle folk music inspired by the land and the trees. We can locate some of the major attractions on route to help you get your bearings in the town.
White Spring Well & Temple
A short visit to the springs at the foot of Well house lane - We'll stop here to take a drink of the healing waters, and to visit the White Spring, if it's open. We'll also locate the entrance to the Chalice well gardens, a recommended visitor attraction.
Glastonbury Tor
A Tor climb can be included in the Tour - it is a great way to finish the walk and get the full Glastonbury experience. Matt will give you a guided tour of Avalon's horizon in each direction, while we peer down upon the routes we have just traversed.
Chalice Well
We'll locate the entrance to the Chalice Well Gardens, we wont enter the gardens as this is something that visitors might want to explore in their own time.
Glastonbury Tor
If you would like to climb the Tor, we can end the experience at the foot of the hill.
Glastonbury
The tour can take you back to the town centre or I can guide you towards local sites of interest such as the Tor or Chalice Well (Red Spring), and we can end the tour there. The tour can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
