French Quarter

We will walk through the French Quarter discussing various stories and histories of events and places along the way. Since these are privately owned buildings, we will not be going inside them. No walking tour has access to inside homes. Our stories and stops include: Hands of Fate - original home of the first Church of Witchcraft, Voodoo shops, Muriel's Restaurant, Jackson Square, Pirates Alley, Ursuline Convent, haunted hotels, Lalaurie Mansion, and a bar stop for a break and drinks.

Difficulty understanding our guide even as native speakers as he had a very strong accent and spoke very quickly! He also seemed a bit drunk - wouldn’t recommend this tour, but again if one is really into vampires etc they will find it interesting!

I hope you get Yah Yah as your guide, she was the best, far better than the boss lady who we had a brief encounter with, she was rude and uncaring taking little interest in whether we could even hear what she was saying. Yah Yah was funny, interesting and made it a special evening so thank you.
