A great way to get out on the river in Oxford! The boat pilot was very knowledgeable and interesting! We went downstream through Iffly Lock so we got to see up close how the locks worked. Tea was great and we enjoyed meeting other passengers. It rained at one point but the boat was covered so all was great!

The title of my review says it all. These tours aren't cheap, but we're in Oxford ! However, our tour had ll good elements so you didn't feel at all ripped. off. The guide was fun and informative. We ordered fizz as and extra part of the package, though a very large selection of hot drink choices are part of the standard package.

This was one of the highlights of my trip! The skippers and other guests on the boat were so friendly and we learned a lot about the river and its surrounding history. The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious with a nice selection of teas and amazing food. 10/10 worth the price would book again.

As two couples, we really enjoyed a superb afternoon tea along the Thames with our very well known (by everyone along the way !) , Captain Nick. Nick was friendly & knowledgeable (especially as he lives on the houseboat closest to the pub), he made this tour a lot of fun with plenty of local facts. A must do activity whilst you are in Oxford.

We had afternoon tea on board our small boat that left from The Folly Restaurant, Oxford. Although it was raining, we all had a good time. Afternoon tea was perfect. The young chap taking the tour was very entertaining. There were few things to see at times, but he chatted even so. There was a boat race taking part at the time and a real bonus to our trip. We all got wet bottoms but it didn’t ‘ dampen ‘ our enjoyment. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time having high tea on a boat, it was fantastic and delicious. Our guide took his time in explaining, with lots of interesting facts, our journey through the Thames.
