We had such a great tour with Dan. We learned so much about the Haida culture. We got to see Salmon, Orca whales, and waterfalls. We loved the museum we stopped at to finish the tour, it had ancient totem poles and we got so much background and a good understanding of what we were seeing. Dan was especially great at accommodating us when the kids needed to go to the bathroom right in the middle of the tour.

Randy was a wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide who is passionate about his culture and sharing his knowledge with everyone. We got to see the salmon ladder, both old and new, Orca wales, bald eagles, lots of totems and so much history. Beautiful waterfall and so much more.

This was a great tour and the young man provided us with a lot of history about all of the sites we saw! He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Small Family owned business, with nice clean vehicle and small tour group size.

Museum. The vehicle was old and very cramped and very difficult to get in and out for everyone. To us it was wasted money. The driver was very informative. There was no wildlife as advertised, we were disappointed. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us, we saved a long time to do this, how sad.

Seriously, book this tour. If you're in Ketchican on a cruise, you won't find anything like this through your cruise line. Randy was one of the best tour guides I've ever had; he's not just a wealth of knowledge on the area's flora and fauna, but also the stories and traditions associated with them. He's also a very generous and patient guide. This is a true Alaskan experience, from a Native family operation. Definitely the highlight of my whole trip to Alaska!

Randy did a very good job providing information and details about local culture and traditions. Would recommend this tour.

Very nice job, lots of interesting information. Very comfortable van. Highly recommend, local family owned business. They work harder.

My mom and I really enjoyed our tour with Dan and Clan House! We learned a bunch and loved hearing the personal family stories that made us feel more connected to the local history. We also enjoyed not having a 'busy' rush around tour and could enjoy each stop leisurely. We recommend this tour without hesitation and the highlight was seeing the mama bear with her cubs as well as the museum stop!

An interesting tour with a very knowledgeable and informative guide. It was well paced and gave plenty of time to explore different areas. The only downside was that the whales didn't turn up to either of the viewing sites during the tour.
