The Bay Cruise and Alcatraz tour were excellent! I had booked through another operator only to be cancelled the next day “because no tickets were available.” I scoured the internet and found Alcatraz Bikes and Tours. We nabbed three tickets for the following day. I was worried due to my first experience, but this company was amazing!!!! The cruise and tour were exactly was advertised and the price comprable. We even got to see dolphins on the bay cruise. Al from the company contacted me very quickly with clear directions and texted details to my phone. Everything was seemless. The listing says you need to pick up in person, but he was able to text me the Qr Code for the prison tour and tickets for the bay cruise. It was a wonderful experience using Alcatraz Bikes and Tours. My husband, 8 year old son, and I all enjoyed the day! (I booked through Viator…The instructions that pop out for the bay cruise and prison tour talk about a bike rental…no bikes were actually part of our experience).

Lots and lots of interesting history. Well worth the trip!! So much to see and learn about. We took our time and spent about 3 hours looking. I lived in South San Francisco, as a child, from 1960-1963. I remember hearing and seeing it, on the news, when the 3 guys escaped, in 1962.

The boat ride and the Alcatraz is a great experience. Alex really go out of his way to make us feel at home when we were sick and could only go on Alcatraz tour. He went beyond and let us go a month later for the Golden blue fleet. The experience was excellent, I mean like really friendly and we were treated so well and not feel wasted whenever we can make up the bike trip too. The announcer on the boat had historical knowledge and it was fun to see the workers know every word! What a lovely experience. I highly recommend this trip package if you have to show people around!
