Your Itinerary

Loch Ness

Our first stop will be overlooking the magnificent Loch Ness and the ruins of Urquhart Castle. We will stop here for about 10 - 15 mins for some photos and to learn about some of the amazing facts and legends that the loch is renowned for.

Corrimony Chambered Cairn

Before we reach Glen Affric, you will take a small detour to the 4,000 year old chambered burial cairn at Corrimony. This is one of the best preserved cairns on the mainland of Scotland, so a great opportunity to glimpse into the ancient past and learn about the culture and customs of these mysterious people.

Glen Affric National Nature Reserve

We then turn inland and on to what many people consider to be Scotland's most beautiful glen - Glen Affric is home to some of Scotland's original and ancient Pines, (known as granny Pines) as well as Red and Roe Deer, Ospreys, Squirrels and and a whole host of animal life. We will stay here for about 1 hour to allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and take in one of the short walks along the river.

Plodda Falls

We will head back down the single track road and across to the other side of the glen to take in Plodda falls - Scotland's 2nd tallest waterfalls, it is a short walk to the bottom, where, if you are feeling adventurous, you can jump in to the plunge pool for a swim!

Beauly Priory

Our next stop will be in Beauly where you will be able to explore this pretty village and it's ruined priory, one of only 3 that we were built in Scotland.

Our tour of the Loch Ness area included a short cruise, castles, great friendly dining along the way, and fun stories of history and folklore. Jamie took us off course on our way to Edinburgh to see St Andrews Course. He was accommodating and fun.

Five out of five stars for Jaime Conner and his amazing tours! Jaime's genuine passion for Scotland shines through his captivating storytelling and extensive knowledge of history. Even the toughest critics, a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old, were thoroughly impressed! We packed two full days with unforgettable adventures, exploring Loch Ness, the Falls, and the breathtaking Isle of Skye. Bravo, Jaime, for making our trip truly extraordinary!

10 stars. Amazing experience from start to finish. Jamie was our guide and he was incredibly friendly and delighted us with history and folk lore throughout the trip. The day was flexible and Jamie made it clear anything we wanted to stop and take photos off or ask about, just shout. He has a passion for the history and a reverence for the Scottish highlands that this beautiful landscape so clearly deserves. He made every stop feel magical and made this foreign (to us) landcsape feel approachable which made it so much more special. He also takes great pictures of you/your group!!

It was an amazing experience, the best day I had at the highlands. The driver was very, very, very nice, he gives you alternatives to make and is the best option, you will not regret it. We were 4 friends who came all the way over from colombia and he was very willing to help us all the way.

Our adventure in Inverness, Scotland, led by our amazing guide Jamie, was truly unforgettable! Jamie's spontaneity made the journey extra special with delightful diversions, including a visit to our ancestor’s castle, an up-close encounter with charming highland cattle, a unique one-hole round of golf experience, and even a refreshing swim in the legendary Loch Ness. Jamie's thoughtfulness shone through as he kindly purchased fresh berries for us to taste. Thank you Jamie for so passionately sharing your beautiful country with us. Until we meet again!

This was a wonderful experience! We had a special request to visit Tomich and the Guisachan estate. Jamie is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a truly extraordinary experience. His passion for the area, preservation of natural resources, and respect for the locals are evident in all his interactions. I highly recommend booking with Jamie and will do so again if I am ever lucky enough to be able to visit the Scottish Highlands again.

TAKE THIS TOUR. It is a completely unique, individualized and private tour of the highlands most elusive places. Jamie is an expert in the geography and history of the land. I took an all day solo hiking tour with him and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The views are spectacular and the memories unmatched. I hope to come back one day and will definitely tell anyone I know that they MUST do a tour with Jamie!!

I would leave 10 stars if possible. This is a completely unique & incredible experience. Jamie took me on a highlands hike/walking tour of a lifetime. We drove on roads and took trails that are impossible to reach by anyone other than a true local, with a passion & knowledge of the geography. Jamie cares deeply for this land and is so well versed in the history. He takes his guests “where he would want to go and where he knows are the most special, hidden gems”. I was a solo traveler and couldn’t believe he catered the entire days journey just for me. It is something I won’t soon forget. FUN FACT - He and his partner also own a BNB! I highly recommend you look them up via “secret highlands” if you haven’t booked accommodations. Please support this family run business - they are incredible. Thanks, Jamie!! I hope to see you again some day in your beautiful country.
