We had an amazing time on our Amole Canyon Snowshoeing Tour with Lizzy as our tour guide! It was me and my son's favorite part of our spring break trip to Taos. We had great weather and fresh snow on our three mile hike, and Lizzy gave us breaks to play in the meadows so the kids could build snowmen or rest. Lizzy was also very patient with re-adjusting my son's snowshoe and had a great attitude. We also had a gourmet lunch and hot chocolate after the tour, what a great time!

This was one of our favorite activities on our family spring break trip. We enjoyed the scenery and playing in the snow. The sandwiches and hot cocoa at the end was also a highlight.

Snowshoe trekking in Amole Canyon was a beautiful adventure. Lizzy led us with ease through the fresh powder. It’s Gods country made accessible via Viator.

Angelisa was such a charming guide and made the trip so much fun! She adjusted as needed for our sea-level visitors and taught us a lot about the area. She made sure we understood the basics and ended the session with an amazing lunch. We will be back!!!

My girlfriend and I did the back country snowshoeing with Angelisa in Anole Canyon outside of Taos NM. This was not a tour; it was a full on experience. We didn’t expect to learn so much history of the region, why ponderosas require burning for propagating, how lichen indicates clean air, and the general healing powers Mother Nature brings you in Taos. Not only did Angelisa provide an experience, she also recommended numerous other activities from great local food dishes to a personal friend who led us through a sound bathing experience. If you want to feel the excitement of immersing yourself in the local vibes, you’ll find it here... and perhaps leave wanting to be best friends with your guide like we did.

Angelisa knew the perfect spot to go to capture the most snow and wonderful scenery. She was fun and very knowledgeable about Taos natural surroundings and history. It was a great way to spend a morning-- highly recommended!

I never snowshoed before and didn't know what to expect. Heritage Inspirations did a top-notch job of making it fun and customized a tour for our group. The owner took us on the tour and told us so many facts and features of the area. She is very knowledgeable on so many things. It was a true delight listening to her. At the end of our time, we had a tail gate party with huge sack lunch complete with a cookie! I would highly recommend using them for snowshoe, hiking, glam camping etc. I plan on coming back in summer to do one of their hiking tours.

What a sublime experience! Angelisa hosted a most amazing morning to Amole Canyon in the mountains behind Taos. Her beaming spirit and stories of the area and it's landscape completed a gorgeous day of snowshoeing in the perfectly crunchy snow. She had every detail of the trip taken care of. All that was left was to enjoy every minute of the experience. We snowshoed into the ponderosa and the open meadows of Amole Canyon in the Carson National Forest. It was an easy and joyful hike. Lunch after from Manzanita Market was delicious. She created a little picnic for us to enjoy the Taos sun and share each other's company. I can't wait to do this again soon!
