Our experience will start in this beautiful city! From here we will depart to Andorra, the journey will take us around 3 hours. You can escape from the city´s stress, and discover the fresh air in the Pyrenees.

Ax-les-Thermes

Discover this magical village next to the Ariège river. It´s very well known for its ski slopes, traditional cheeses, and spring waters. Soak your feet in its natural spring waters, and feel the difference between the hot waters and the fresh air.

Pas de la Casa

Here you will be between two countries. This border crossing between France and Andorra is very well known for its skiing tracks. You will see the highest port in the Pyrenees and the Grandlvalira winter sports resort. You will have the chance to step into another country and take magnificent pictures from its great viewpoint!

Andorra la Vella

Discover the capital of the small independent state of Andorra! Here you will meet its landscapes, the views of its ski slopes and its iconic capital, Andorra la Vella. You will discover the landmarks of the city with our tour leader and learn about monuments like Casa de la Vall, Dali´s watch, San Esteve XII century church... and for sure, about its political situation and history! You will have also free time to explore one of its most magic streets, Meritxell´s avenue.

Casa de la Vall

It is the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra and was built in 1580 as the ancestral home and defense tower of the Busquets family. In 1702 it was acquired by the General Council. In June 2003 it was listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest in Andorra.

Had absolutely no problem with Viator but the company chosen to do the trip didn’t turn up or didn’t make themselves obvious and when we tried to email the company they never bothered to respond not very happy as it was supposed to be a birthday treat to go visit three countries in one day

Amigo Tours was very helpful in emailing ahead of time to remind clients a out their upcoming trip. Pretty easy.location to find near the foot of La Rambla, at the train station. Tour drives for about 1:45 before a stop at a roadside station for bathroom and coffee/snacks (note, there is no bathroom on the bus). Another hour or so to the small French village for.an hour stop. Enough time for grabbing something delicious from the Bakery and to check out the hot springs and dip your feet. Note, the public toilets in the village do not have toilet paper, so being tissue. Also note.... on a Sunday, some shops may be closed. Another hour or so and head up to the lookout. For us it was a crazy downpour or rain and the road was shut on the mountain. So it more time in Andorra. 2.5 hours. In Andorra... there was time for lunch or a snack and plenty of time to shop on the main street. Then a 3 hour drive back to Barcalona, with a pit stop again for coffee/bathroom break.... Carlos the tour guide kept things running smoothly and really stayed out of our way and didn't really speak too much on the bus.... which was.good for everyone wanting to take a nap.

It was a very nice trip, Carlos was our guide, he provided a lot of information about the cities that we visited, recommended places to eat and was always paying attention to all details to make our trip memorable.

Tour was cancelled 90 minutes in and we never saw a thing…. Just three hours of Barcelona rush hour traffic

I liked the mountain pass views, and the views of Northern Spain on the way back to Barcelona. The guide did a good job of explanations in Spanish and English. The trip wisely included brief rest/snack/WC bus stops between Barcelona and the hours for lunch and outdoor tax-free shopping streets down in the valley. Most of the time there was free time for the main shopping drag. It is a little tough to meet for such an early start in a place where dinner the night before was 20:00-23:00 or so, but its the only way to get a look through Andorra on a day trip. While you do go through some miles and a brief village stop in France, the trip is mainly through Northern Spain, with a brief mountain stop in Andorra, and a long free period in the Andorra valley shopping/dining center.

The views on this tour were amazing! I loved going to France and Andorra! I thought the Capital of Andorra would be smaller and quaint, but it is very commercialized with a lot of brand name shops we can find at home. I would have preferred a more local atmosphere, however the restaurant our guide took us to was local and fabulous. My favorite was the town of Ax-les-Thermes in France. Very traditional and beautifully nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains. A trip like this would have been better on a smaller scale as it took a long time to load and unload the bus at each stop but overall, it was a nice tour.

This was a full day trip and back by dinner time. Wish there was more time at each spot but due to the distance just can’t. Everything we expected and the weather was great

Our tour guide, Dani, is a lovely person with extensive knowledge of the area. Both he and the driver managed our time well from start to finish, ensuring we arrived at each place on time and had ample opportunity to explore. His recommendations for restaurants were exceptional. We would definitely take this trip again in winter if we return to Barcelona
