If you are interested in the BEST wine tasting experience on Elba look no further than Tenuta Delle Ripalte! We took our family here while on vacation in Elba. (including our 5 and 7 year old granddaughters!). Oliver was a knowledgeable, gracious host and tour guide. After a delicious Aperitivo on the terrace with 4 beautiful wines, we had an amazing dinner at the Villa on the property. The food, wine, and surrounding grounds were incredible! The service at the restaurant was also impeccable. Tenuta delle Ripalte is a great choice while in Elba whether you are looking for a romantic setting or a family gathering! Not many places can accommodate both so effortlessly. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately we went on a rainy day but our guide, a girl who welcomed us with a lot of passion in what she does, was still able to make us have fun and spend a wonderful day getting to know a little piece of the history of the island of Elba

Good evening we stayed two nights in this splendid estate, what can I say, the place is truly beautiful like few others but it could be organized much better. Room ok, clean and restaurant on the estate more than good, truly delicious dishes, good breakfast. We did two activities, a guided tour of the cellar and a horseback excursion with wine experience. Both very nice, in the first we also found a very good girl and prepared in terms of hospitality and knowledge. The second unique experience with a breathtaking horseback ride and final aperitif. The negative points are only for booking activities since we have to interface and there is no central control, which can be disturbing on a relaxing weekend. The estate is huge and beautiful but in my opinion little signposted inside and the information provided upon arrival is not very exhaustive. Having said that, an experience like few others. We will definitely return.

The estate is truly an enchanting place, in contact with nature and full of activities to do. It is possible to enjoy wonderful views and many very intimate and beautiful coves. Last but not least, the aperitif on the terrace is a must!

The experience opens with a brief story of the history of the estate, followed by a description of the wines they produce. The aperitif based on local products is good, as are the wines from the cellar. The view is magnificent and the location at sunset is magical. Beautiful visit!

Stunning view of the vineyards and the sea from a large terrace. I went with friends and our children to this tasting of 3 wines each. I immediately noticed that the wines (all from white to red) are kept in the same refrigerator at the same temperature: this is already absolutely not good. The seats assigned to us are different from all the others: we are on sofas with smooth tables, which is fine when we have children with us (5-6-8 years old). We begin the tasting which is initially accompanied by bread with a good oil . Other tapas followed and they told me they were good because I couldn't eat them (I have celiac disease and, although I had mentioned this when booking, it wasn't taken into consideration at all). It is a beautiful sunset accompanied, however, by a very strong wind that spills the first empty glass it encounters onto the ground (thanks to the smooth tables without edges). While the waiter cleans the glasses, we are served platters of cured meats: as soon as they are placed on the tables by the waiter the wind immediately blows away some slices which end up on the ground and are collected together with the shards of the glass: the slices that fall on the ground are not replaced. The strong wind does not forgive and after placing my empty glass on the table (in the center of the table) a gust knocks it to the ground breaking it. This time the shards remain on the ground and are not collected. I go to get the 3rd tasting (a passito) which is served to me in a plastic glass telling me that the glasses "only break for us"!!! It's a shame for the slippage of elegance and savoir faire because we certainly would have bought some speakers but, following this release, we left. The estate is very beautiful but the education of the staff certainly needs to be reviewed.
