Your Itinerary

Harry Reid International Airport

This amazing day starts with a stop and viewing of the top secret Janet Airlines, the airline that doesn’t exist! Based at Las Vegas International Airport, this fleet of unmarked jets has been hiding in plain sight for decades. It transports hundreds of workers daily to and from the infamous and supposedly closed and abandoned "Area 51."

Extraterrestrial Highway

The route to Area 51 is through some of the most desolate, uninhabited and incredibly scenic desert in the world. And you will explore a mysterious dry lake where UFO sightings often occur.

Little A'Le'Inn

After another beautiful and remote drive along the "Extraterrestrial Highway" you'll arrive at the world famous Little A'le' Inn. This location has been host to numerous documentaries and movies including "Independence Day". Here you will find a wealth of information and souvenirs on this top-secret area. Captain Chuck Clark, an ex-air force captain, has written an amazingly interesting and in depth report on Area 51, which is also available for purchase.

The Black Mailbox

After a very tasty Alien Burger at the Little A'le' Inn you'll journey to the infamous Black Mailbox location, a sacred meeting place for UFO enthusiasts.

Area 51

Moving on, you'll arrive at the absolute perimeter of Area 51 through a strange and mutant Joshua Tree forest where the guards (The Men In Black) with their high powered weapons, forever stand watch along with detection devices, listening devices and cameras mounted among the cactus. The signs read, "Top Secret Military Facility, Keep Out, Use of Deadly Force Authorized" and you can be sure they mean it. You can wave at the heavily armed guards in the 4x4 parked on the desert hillside but they never wave back! They just wait and watch from behind their darkened windows. As much as the United States government denied the existence of this base for decades, it's now known it is there but no one knows what they do there. This is an Extreme Tour to the world's most top secret military facility, the real home of the X files, Area 51.

We had a great Area 51 trip with 'Captain' Kirk who was an excellent and knowledgeable host for the day. My 14 year old son had persuaded me to book this as part of a overall trip and I'm pleased we did it. It was great to get outside of Las Vegas and experience some of the dessert on a well organised trip where you get to see so much and learn a lot too. We got to visit two Area 51 gates as well as a dry lake bed, the mailbox, the Joshua forest and of course the famous Little A'Le'Inn. The trip includes well spaced food/comfort/souvenir stops and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to find out more about this fascinating area.

Went on the Area 51 tour and Captain Kirk was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and great to listen to as he told his stories and facts about the area. Would highly recommend this tour group. We hadso much fun.

Our driver, Kirk, had a wealth of information to share not only about Area 51 but also about Las Vegas, and the land formations. He definitely met my expectations as I like being educated on these types of tours. The number of stops was good as well for bio breaks, stretching our legs and sight seeing.

Our tour guide Kirk was not only very knowledgeable on all things Area51 but also on the history of Las Vegas. The tour was enjoyable from start to finish.

I dragged my husband along on this tour quite reluctantly but he loved it! We both did! The views are amazing, our tour guide ‘Captain’ Kirk was extremely knowledgeable and the tour was great value for money. Plenty of short rest stops and lunch (included in the price) at A’Le’Inn was lovely and plentiful. I’m veggie and this wasn’t an issue. Lots of photo opportunities and a great day outside of the hustle and bustle of the strip.

It is a long ride out there and there is not much to see. But we did stop along the way and saw the Black Mailbox, the Alien Jerky Store is a much stop for souvenirs.
