Graeme was a terrific guide; a native of Adelaide with a passion for its rich history. An easy two hour stroll with many stories of the founding of South Australia. Highly recommend.

Graeme was a great guide imparting so much information and we certainly saw places that we would not have gone to on our own. We also learned a lot!

Great walking tour with Graham. Very well informed, good story telling. Going inside the State Library to see the Mortlock Library was an unexpected bonus. We had such an interesting morning - learnt so much more than we have otherwise done under our own steam. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks.

Graeme was a terrific guide and he made this walking tour a real delight! He was knowledgeable and articulate and easy to understand. He blended the history of the beautiful old buildings on Victoria Square with stories of some of the key figures who shaped in Adelaide's history. He also always stopped in shady spots so it wasn't too hot when he had more to tell us. It was one of the best walking tours we have taken in a very long time.

I had the opportunity to go on a walking tour with Graeme, and it was a very enriching experience. I booked at the last minute, and even though it was just me, Graeme didn’t hesitate to take me on. His passion for history is evident, and he has a knack for storytelling that really brings the subject matter to life. What stood out for me was how Graeme gave insights not just into the history of the buildings we saw, but also into Adelaide’s past as a whole. He talked about what happened at these places and how they’ve evolved over time. It wasn’t just isolated facts; he wove them together in a way that gave me a fuller understanding of the city’s history. If you’re interested in more than just a cursory glance at Adelaide and its buildings, Graeme’s tour is a good choice. It was a thoughtful, well-paced walk that left me with a deeper appreciation of the city.

Graeme has perfected his “art”. He was appropriately early, genial, accommodating and knowledgeable. The ideal guide. It was clear that he was gauging our interests and tailoring his descriptions to suit. We had many laughs together and indeed his story of Queen Adelaide and King William IV sent me scrambling over supporting documents. We found ourselves in nooks & crannies of Adelaide city that we would have bypassed; he explained the statues, the birth and use of the buildings. In short he made the history live through the stories and his knowledge.

In such a short space of time we learnt a lot about the history of buildings and the people of Adelaide. Graeme obviously new his subject very well and had some entertaining stories from the past. Well done
