    The sunset was beautiful but there were no telescopes to see the stars as promised. The restaurant food was not good.

    Le titre est « visite d’observation astronomique »… nous nous sommes retrouvés sur le parking du resto entre deux bus à regarder les étoiles avec un espagnol et son laser, pas de télescope! Nous pensions aller à l’observatoire vu le prix que nous avons payé! Vous devriez changer l’intitulé mensonger de l’expérience! C’était très bien dans l’ensemble, sauf qu’à chaque arrêt il faut courir pour avoir des photos car nous nous sommes arrêtés à chaque point de vu seulement 15-20min à peine. Du coup on ne profite pas de l’instant. Le resto n’était pas super, pour les spécialités canariennes ce n’est pas ça! Frites et Glace Milka toute molle en dessert… Le coucher du soleil était magnifique. Le guide était super!! Vraiment déçu par l’observation des étoiles qui n’en était pas une!!! J'ai acheté les places uniquement pour ça!!!

    It was a pleasant, educational experience with amazing views. The dinner was complete although they did not specify before the purchase of the experience that alcohol was limited to local wine and the non-alcoholic drink was water, any variation is paid separately. According to the contracted conditions, we would see the sky using a telescope, but we didn't. The date night took place in a car park, next to the bus, all standing and attentive to the explanation and signage of an astronomer. I must admit that both the Driver, Guide, Astronomer and the restaurant staff were very attentive and pleasant. We had a great time but the tour operator should give all the complete information before hiring the visit so that each client can choose well his type of experience.

    Wir wurden gefragt ob wir umbuchen könnten und haben diesem zugestimmt. Allerdings mussten wir dafür 20€ extra bezahlen. Die neuen Daten kamen natürlich erst an unserem eigentlichen Tag und wir konnten somit auch nicht mehr stornieren. Zudem gab es keine Teleskope für die astronomische Sternenbeobachtung, sondern nur einige Erklärungen zu den Sternbildern anhand eines Lasers. Trotz nochmaliger Nachfrage kam keine weitere Auskunft. Andere Teilnehmer dieser Tour haben deutlich weniger bezahlt. Somit rate ich von dieser Seite ab!!!

    Near the area of Roques de García is where the astronomical observation will take place. It is considered by astronomers one of the best skies in the world to observe the stars, the Milky Way, the planets and the constellations. In this place the guide will give you extensive astronomical information accompanied by the laser pointer to indicate the area that is described. Later they will be able to use the telescope to enjoy the different astronomical attractions.

    Centro de Visitantes El Portillo

    After sunset and waiting for it to be completely dark, we will make a stop of approximately 2 hours to have dinner and enjoy Canarian cuisine, with a variety of dishes to taste. And later we will return to the heart of the national park.
